Who are your permanent villagers?

I doubt with some of the others, but right now my permanent villagers are:
Bones, he's the librarian of the island and so cute.
Mira, she started with me and I really like uchi personality.
Marshal, my 1st camper, he's so affectionate and I like it when he starts singing.
Ruby, she just has something that calls to me.

overthinks everything
For the forseeable future, I don't intend to move out Raymond, Rolf, Claude or Fuchsia.
They've endeared themselves to me so much. Raymond will be the only smug resident on my island. (Unless Jacques comes back.) Because he's the best at being smug. I recently had Eugene move in, but he just seemed like a Raymond wannabe, especially when his home interior even resembles Raymond's. Rolf is a dear old friend from New Leaf. I'd like to grow older with him. Claude is the only remaining one of my original 5 villagers. We've both come such a long way. Fuchsia is my resident uchi. I love how she's always telling me about her grandparents, parents, neighbours and friends and her adventures as a young punk. She's had the growing up experience that I wish I had.
Tangy, Dom and Wolfgang may move out someday. But that won't happen soon. The next one to move out will be Eugene, Deli or Sherb.

I had bought ten Amiibos to use for my villagers, but then Antonio won my heart over because he screamed HEYA at me the first time we met on a friend's island. That same day I found him on one of my own mystery islands and ended up giving in and having him move in as the jock villager. RIP Bill you will now remain unscanned.

for me, my absolutely 100% permanent villagers are Leopold, Pietro and Filbert, because they're my top 3 favorite villagers. I really like my other ones but I would be willing to possibly swap them out for another villager at some point.
The only one who isn't allowed to leave my island is Velma. I've been going back and forth on Sherb. I love him and he is not easy to get back if I let him leave. I might let him stay for a long time. He is also the last of my starting villagers and I really love him in his starter lazy house. We are slowly customizing it!
Probably Velma and Sherb. The rest are allowed to leave as soon as I get their picture and they want to leave. They just might have to ask at least three times first!

I wouldn't necessarily say any of current villagers are permanent, but Zell is probably pretty close. I don't care much for many of the Smug villagers, so getting Zell as my first camper was great. There's only like 2-3 other Smugs that I'd choose to let replace him.
Butch is also close to being permanent, he's just such a cute doggo. There are other Crankies out there I like more than him, though, so it all depends on who shows up to the campsite and which other villagers I have available to leave (I keep at least one of every personality, and I must have their photo before they can leave).
I've wanted an Octopus ever since Wild World, and I finally got Marina this time. I'd like to keep her around, but there a lot of other nice Normals out there and it's not one of the personality types I like to double up on. So again, it'll depend on who shows up at the campsite. Like if Molly or Merengue show up, she's outta here, lol.
I still have Tank from my original 10, but that's mostly because he's never asked to leave and the campsite hasn't provided me any great Jocks yet. I do like him though, so it'll be a little sad to see him go when the time comes.
My other current residents, Tangy, Drago, Annalise, Curt, Huck, and Diva are all expendable. Diva will have to wait until a good Sisterly shows up in the campsite, though. I don't like many of them, and back when I let Canberra move out on her own, I wasn't even able to find a replacement Sisterly with Nook Miles. Went to a ton of islands, didn't find a single good candidate, and ended up having to choose a different personality because I ran out of time. I'm not too keen on doing that again, lol.

All my current villagers haha. I love them all so much and although I think it would be fun to have at least one rotating villager, I can't let any of them go! Here is the list- Diva, Judy, Tom, Snake, Flora, Sylvana, Huck, Sly, Ankha, and Chester.

There are a few of my villagers who I will never let out of my cold, dead hands...You'd have to fight me for them....to the death.
Poppy - This girl is one of my favorites. She's adorable and I love her aesthetic so much. I cant wait to work on her yard and make use of all those mushroom diys!
Blanche - When I took her in, I wasn't expecting her to become a permanent villager. I love her simple yet elegant design and when I saw her home, I was immediately hooked. She is now most definitely a permanent villager.
Lily - I am not a fan of most frogs, but Lily is most definitely a huge exception. She's so cute and watching her read and interact with Poppy makes my heart flutter.
Olivia - Cats. Do I have to say more? Cat Villagers are so cute, I can't not have any cats on my island. And Olivia's aesthetic is so cute and elegant. I love her.
Tangy - Another villager I didn't expect to be permanent. I had her in my NL town and she was delightful! But I wasnt sure I wanted to take her again. But I found after 300 islands of searching and I finally caved. I do not regret it!
Sherb - I love him so much! He may be a dork and share his food with bugs, but that doesn't bother me. He makes up for it in his cuteness and dumb dialogue. I will never let this beautiful boy go.

I have only have a couple permanent villagers being ; Lucky he was one of my villagers back in New Leaf and I adored him so much! So when I got NH I just knew I had to get him no matter what. Second being Ankha I will be honest, I didn’t know about her until I watched someone villager hunt on YouTube and seeing her look and her overall house it was a no brainer for me. Coco I have no reason other than I love her look 
I only have three permanent villagers so far: Raymond, Marshal and Limberg!
Raymond is my absolute favourite and I’d never let him go, Marshal is another favourite and I love him too much to let him leave, Limberg is loved by my sister and he grew on me too, so of course I’m going to have him stay.
I‘m not sure about my other villagers. Poppy, Gayle, Ketchup and Mitzi I all love a whole lot too! But I think I’ll let them leave eventually if they really want to.. but that won’t be for a long time yet, once I get their pictures!

Out of the 10 villagers I currently have, only a few are staying permanently and they are:
Alfonso- My number one favourite and the best lazy boi to exist.
Julian- He's great and his house is amazing.
Wolfgang- Best wolf, and I love his cranky personality.
Diana- She's another all time favourite. I used to have her in my New Leaf town as well. I love her.

Currently, I've got Billy, Ursala, Rodney, Melba, Roscoe and probably Clay and Sprinkle as permanent residents.
The other three - Savannah, Purrl and Bill - are prone to being switched out at some point, though I'm not really in a rush since they're all nice. I'll probably want a second lazy instead of a second jock, some other normal (I'm thinking Vesta since sheep are among my favorite villager species), and I'm still looking for a snooty I really click with. Thinking Mallary since I've had her before in WW and NL.

I have really bad attachment issues and feel bad having villagers I don't even like moving out so idk if I'd ever really be able to get any of my favourite villagers to move out once I get them on my island haha
