I have two Day1s. The first one was the town where I was a 2nd character in my family's town. Then one day I decided to have my own town, when the former mayor chopped all of the trees in island - bug hunting & bell farming was what I was into at the time.
Sooooo. The villagers that were the starter in my very fist town どうぶつ and still with me to this day is Diana, Puddles, Flurry, Fuchsia. The villagers in my first town as a mayor and still with me is Clay. If the camper after a few days from Day1 counts, then Marshal too.
Hugh and Mint have both been with me since I stepped off the train in Sakura.
Mint is absolutely adorable and she was so kind and cheerful that I actually mistook her for a peppy at first. Her house is also in a perfect location, on it's own little peninsula, perfectly spaced from the bridge and everything else. I built the windmill on the peninsula next to her house because the colors matched so well. That was the moment I knew I could never let her leave.
Hugh just always makes me smile every time I see him. He has an adorable lopsided grin and two different colored eyes, plus he's my favorite color, blue. Having him in my town makes me really happy and that's what the game is all about, so he's a permanent resident of Sakura.
Julian in Treehut was probably my first or second random move in. I think second. Because I never had him in my other town before resetting, I really thought it would be such a pain to get him. I went 6 years never seeing his face in New Town, only for him to show up as a completely random move in, twice! Treehut and Secret. Now that I have him, Julian is never leaving Treehut, he matches the theme.
Oh my, I think my original villagers are all gone! I did scan in Filbert and Stitches quite quickly after starting up my town though, and they're still with me Never letting them go!
Gaston and Bree have been in my first New leaf town since I started it in June of 2013.That's almost six years.How long is that in rabbit or mouse years?
Tangy has been with me since Day 1 and she’s never leaving <3 Cesar and Spork technically have been too but I’m trying to move them out, to no luck <_<
Hovilla: Rooney, Yuka, and Flip are still in town
Hiatus: Diana and Rodeo are still in town
Tranzee: all five have moved to other towns
Tardisia: Lolly is still in town
Iwakuni: all five have moved to other towns
Kawa: Rowan still in town
Nowhere: Tangy is still in town
Hachi: Maple, Drago, Soleil, and Hamphrey are still in town
I still have Goldie, Bones and Rowan. Goldie and Bones because I grew really attached to them, and Rowan ... I have no idea, but he seems to just love it here? To be fair tho, I've only had the game for a little over a year.
In Sundance, the golden trio of Flurry, Freckles and Chow are original villagers and will stay forever ♪
In Hangzhou, unfortunately, I have let all the original villagers go. Needed to get ones that matched the town theme
