Who and Why are your favorite Smugs

I like Jacques best. He was the first smug I ran into and his overall design appeals to me and really suits the smug personality. I like Henry too though I've not had him, he's a nice simple looking frog.

Eugene, Kyle, Olaf, and Shep also have good designs in my opinion.

I love smugs! This would be a hard choice for me, but it's probably a tie between Zell and Klaus. I had Zell in my town for ages as a random move in, and cherished his company. He just seems so sweet and not as arrogant as some smugs are. Recently he wanted to move, so I let a friend take him, and now I have Klaus. Klaus is really adorable and also looks like he should be a cranky, and that's really endearing to me, a big intimidating bear being all friendly and gentlemanly.

I haven't come across a smug villager I really liked. I have Marshal in my village at the moment. I think he's okay but he's not my favorite villager. I also have had Olaf and Shep at one point, but again, not in love with them. So Marshal I guess?

I love Ed and Colton the most. Especially Colton. I wish I didn't mess up cycling to lose him.
Currently, I'm looking for Kidd. I hope I find him, and more importantly, like him.

Julian! There's something about a sparkly unicorn being so smug that I really like.

Curlos and Shep are still my favorite smug villagers, although people adore Shep and not Curlos.
I really love these two to death, because they're both cute and adorable.
And I was really torn up about Shep leaving in both of my towns, as he was my best friend in my old town.

I've had Colton and Kyle in my town. Although I like Kyle's design (and the fact that he's a wolf), Colton grew on to me more.

I don't have a favorite, but my town has Phil and Olaf. Phil is colorful and likes the iconic look. His look and his flamboyant personality go together well. He sleeps on benches/stumps in my town a lot. Olaf starts out with a Matador's Jacket, but I don't think it's his best look. He resembles Michael Jackson to me because of his hair, which looks a lot like MJ's Jheri curls. His starting house is a little too fancy for his personality, but it gets better when you ruin it with other items.

But, Lopez and Zell are pretty chill too. Klaus is OK, but he didn't click with me so yeah...

I love Pietro, as funny as that is. Being someone who is terrified of clowns, I don't understand how this could ever happen, but it did! He's such a sweetie and he's actually really cute, and I love his catchphrase. GAH :3

jacques. he randomly moved and my friend held him for me, i even cycled 16 just to get him back in my town ^o^ was definitely worth it.

I've had graham, hans, and marshal so far and marshal is definitely the best. I just think he's so freaking cute. graham was okay too but I think his glasses make him look a bit creepy.

I'd say Keaton, Phil and Jacques. They all are birds and I really like their designs. Plus I had them for a very long time in my very old town. Sad that I restarted my town because I wanted to start over.

My two absolute favourites are Zell and O'Hare. I hated O'Hare at first when he moved in as I really wanted Julian (I had just started playing the game and was going off images I found online) but oh my gosh I just fell in love with O'Hare. Having had many smugs in different towns, I just find the smug personality suits him and Zell the most. I love O'Hare's design too, someone on some forum said he looked like a milk chocolate bunny like the ones you get at Easter and that just made him cuter. I tend to go off whether the villager's aesthetics match with their personality, like with some villagers I find their personality doesn't match and they just don't quite 'click' for me. But O'Hare and Zell just seemed to really, really click for me.

Kyle was my first smug and I will never ever forget this sweet wolf.
But Marshal is pretty cute too. Little white marshmallow fluff. He moved into my cycling town just as I was about to reset, and then he also appeared in my new town as well. It's like he's clinging on to me >_<

I am really torn now, and Ed is opening up a little more he may grow on me but never even thought of some of these, O'Hare may be cute if get Bonbon, Pietro..I have many sheep in other town if ever got another ds could move him over so am thinking long term and good to hear some Phil lovers. At this rate Ed will probably grow on me and may end up with two. Or could always do the bring one in and test it to see who fits better. I am liking seeing all the opinions as I have had some of them in past and some never considered. I miss the days before I knew of plot resetting at start and got to know animals in first town with no idea of other options unless a tent came. But those days are gone as I have seen pics at least of all options. Always love to see especially when people like the lesser know I thought of Kidd I had him once and he was depressed but I have found they aren't always the exact same if you get them again which is weird. Anyway back to best liked.

Pietro it's so cool! He is adorable and creepy.
I have O'Hare and he also very cute. His eyes are hypnotics and he look like a chocolate bunny. I love my darlin O'Hare.

Marshal would have to be the best of the smugs. He is a squirrel, and not an ugly-looking squirrel at all.
