which would you prefer? (new shops/buildings)

We all know that we’re missing a lot of stores, locations and buildings that were featured in previous AC games and most of us are hoping that they’ll come back in some shape or form with future updates to the game but ~how~ would we like to see them return? The most obvious answer would to have them as shops on our island but I saw someone suggest the other day that maybe an alternative idea would be to have a shopping district that we could access via the airport, similar to the city in City Folk. I also think it would be cool to have extra buildings and facilities accessible via the dock (maybe through Kapp’n and his boat?) - the possibilities are endless! If we get additional shops and facilities in the future, how would you most like them to be incorporated into the game?

I like both ideas but I'd prefer to have all the shops etc on my own island so that I've got easy access to them and they can also fill up all those large stretches of open land!

I wish we could Get a Happy Home Academy / Nook's Homes type building so we can do activities related to HHD.

Mostly for convince sake, but also for decoration reasons...I consider the shops to be another element I can use to decorate my town.

Part of the reason why this games sucks and why I don’t play it anymore is this. A separate island of shops may be the only thing that would bring me back to it.

I think it would be a pain to reorganize my town to fit new shops. On the other hand, I think New Horizons really needs new shops to keep things interesting, so I would want them on my island for easy access.

also I think it's a bit rushed that you all decorated your entire island so early, it just seems as if you all should've been expecting new shops

Oh, I see where you are coming from! I haven’t completely done my shopping center type place in my island, but I’m afraid they might throw off so measurements. I do think your tone is rude, but that’s neither here nor their.

I personally hate the airport. It tales soooo long. I would prefer additional shops on my island for convenience sake. I know some people with fully decorated islands will be upset, but I just view it as a refresh of game. I never intended for my map to stay stagnant, I expected it to evolve slowly with time as content is added or as I get bored with it, want to challenge myself.

So early? Take it slow? I mean I don’t TT and have just been decorating here and there, it’s something I like to do in the game. I’m not sure why I should be penalized for doing that? It has been a few months since the game has been out, doesn’t seem unreasonable to have decorated your whole island within that time frame

i kinda like the idea of a separate shopping center! i really enjoyed it during city folk, and if they do happen to go with that route, i hope they install a abd app or even bring back those debt cards so people don't have to go back and forth if they don't have enough bells. i lowkey don't have enough space on my island for more than 2 more buildings so i rather see a shopping center than new buildings.

To me it kind of does considering nintendo's "genius" plan to update slowly and the fact some more shops were planned but that's just my opinion
