Are there specific personality types who likes to stay up late? I usually see Fang/Judy/Raymond up late, occassionally it will be some other villager because they had too much coffee or something, but on most days it's one of these 3 so I'm thinking is it a Cranky/Snooty/Smug thing? Or is it just on my island.

Unlike the previous games, there's no set-in-stone sleeping schedules for the villagers, which I really like as it makes it more realistic. I've noticed the sisterly, snooty, and maybe smug stay up latest. I don't have a cranky on my island at the moment and when I did, I never took notice of his sleeping patterns.
I've noticed sometimes even the normals stay up super late (sometimes till 5AM!). Daisy never stays up late, but Coco has a few times.

Come to think of it the only sisterly I had Flo use to stay up late quite often too, I'm feeling then maybe it's more inclined to these 4 personalities but not set-in-stone. Personally I haven't yet seen a normal stay up late but have ocassionally seen a peppy or a lazy.

basically they still have sleep schedule in a sense where waking up is always set but sleeping time could change. they won't sleep earlier though, they'd either sleep on time or stay awake sometimes. lazies don't stay up late too often, they're usually asleep by 11pm, i should know i always miss punchy. but i find that if you are missing an uchi & cranky (personalities that are last to sleep) one of your other villagers would tend to stay awake than their usual sleeping time even up until 4 to 5 am. i think any other personality could randomly stay up late. i think it's randomized.

To add to this, there's a small chance for a villager to wake up after going to bed, claiming they were having trouble sleeping and decided to go for a walk, etc. I've caught Skye (Normal) wandering around at 3 in the morning, and she was awake for about an hour before going back home and going to sleep again. I've also caught Audie wandering around at 2AM, claiming she drank too much coffee.

One time when I was time traveling, I logged in at 5am and everyone was asleep except DIVA who is Uchi and usually sleeps in really late (10 or 11) and when I talked to her she said (while yawning) that "she was only awake to check on her flowers." I thought that was so cute! I've never seen this happened before or again after that (since I don't usually TT), has anyone else had a similar experience? Lol
Yeah, as I mentioned above I've had (so far) two instances of villagers being up past their bed time. Those two being:
1. Skye. She was up around 3AM, but she mentioned not being able to sleep and decided to go for a night time stroll, hoping it would tire her. She went to bed around 4AM, so she was up for about an hour.
2. Audie. I caught her walking around at 2AM, and when I spoke to her she couldn't get to sleep because she drank to much coffee, and quite literally told me this like this:
"IdrankabunchacoffeeandnowI'mWAAYhyperandIcan'tsleepandI'mtalkingtoofastandIshouldn'tdrinksomuchcoffee!"
You get some really funny and unique dialogue in these cases.

I’ve seen Lily and Kiki up past their bedtime more than anyone else. I think I’ve seen Rudy up past his bedtime once or twice. Roscoe is always up the longest and after him, Raymond.

It's usually Agnes or Cyd. Agnes with her Naruto running or Cyd constantly singing. Funny how he's so quiet during the day but in the dead of night he'll be in the plaza singing his heart out.
On the flip side, more often than not, I'll start playing at 5 or 6 am and Whitney will be up before anyone else.

My island's night watch consists of Agnes and Chief, with Goldie occasionally taking a shift apparently (last week, I was shocked to see her wandering around at 4 AM-ish).
I don't stay up very late myself and I'm usually in bed before even Lucky so I couldn't tell you which of my villagers stays up the latest, but based on my knowledge of the villager sleep schedules from previous games I imagine it's a tie between Chief and Pashmina.

Yeah, it is possible. Just fairly uncommon of an occurrence! I've always been a night owl, so I'm more likely to get this to happen to me.
