Which Villagers in Animal Crossing are the most famous (or infamous)?

I'm not talking about Villager Popularity, but which villagers are more well known or recognisable.

I'd say Bob because he's the first Villager, and well...he's Bob! I always see him meme'd on Tumblr, Jambette for them lips, Shari because of her role in Chugga's gameplay, & Marshal for his resemblance to Justin Bieber.

The ones from the movie for sure. The deer villagers are also pretty recognisable. I don't know if I would say that any villager is "famous" as we all know all the villagers between us, but certainly the most popular are the easiest to recognise.

I think Marshal is both the most famous, and infamous, at least back in 2013-2014, when EVERYONE had him, he was the absolute #1 of all the villagers, everyone loved him, but many also started getting really tired of seeing him everywhere as such he was the most famous, and infamous, at least among the New Leaf community, not sure how it is today though, I just came back after a long hiatus.

Famous? I'd say Rosie or Bob. I think they're the most universally recognizable villagers and they've been around for a long time.
For infamous I'd say Jambette...I remember a few years ago there were memes everywhere making fun of her lol that poor hideous frog
