Which villager is the embodiment of death ?

Definitely Coco. Her design was based on a Haniwa which are clay figures in Japan which are used for rituals and are buried with the dead. They are also where Gyroids are based on so you’re probably grave digging when you dig up gyroids. I get clowns are creepy for some people, but how can he compare to a villager based on a burial object.

After that horror short video someone made with possessed Muffy, she manages to make Pietro endearing and adorable to someone like me who otherwise finds him terrifying.

But since Muffy isn't an option, I'll go with Coco.

Pietro might kill you, but Coco is the entity that ferries your soul into the underworld afterwards.

Neither of them, they are both way too cute. When I first saw Coco, I thought she was based on a Cookie and even though I now know that it isn't true, I can't unsee it Pietro is fluffy and huggable and clowns are widely misunderstood.
I don't think that there is any truly creepy villager. The most unsetteling for me, though still very cute, would probably be Ruby. She reminds me of a ghost and seems very expressionless. So if there has to be the embodiment of death, I'd say it's Ruby.

Lucky ofc. He has one glowing eye, is fully bandaged and lives on a graveyard. My guess is that this poor pupper got hit by a car or something and didn't make it.

Although I personally find Coco to be so cute, when I see Pietro, I don't think death. I don't even find him to be creepy. Coco, on the other hand, looks like the life has been knocked out of her.
