I've noticed that in the trailer in which they show the "Here you go" reaction that seems to be the New Horizons version of the Harvest series. Do you prefer the Harvest series furniture in the previous games or the new version?
(I personally think the New Horizons version of the Harvest Furniture looks better )
All I remember from acnl was people were hoarding the olive oil bottle as decoration, lol. Ohh, haha I had to look up what the harvest furniture set was and it was that oddball set. It always reminded me of jellyfish (idk why)
I like that crockpot item though. I wonder what other custom colors it'll come in and same with the table w/ the overhanging table cloth. That'd be fun to customize if possible.
If the furniture is that one with the reaction, I would prefer that one. I did like the Harvest from NL but I always struggled putting it with other stuff. The NH version (if so) looks more usable this time around.
i definitely agree with you. When I look at the NL harvest set, it does not make me think of a harvest festival or Thanksgiving at all. From the little we saw from the video, I think it definitely fits the theme better. I’m really hoping there will be more than a fireplace, table setting, table, chairs and a pot though. Also, I hope we can obtain and hoard those vinegar bottles again (I never experienced Harvest Festival in NL, so no idea what it was like).
I like the style of the new one more. Reminds me of 70's dinnerware. The old set was a neat idea but the colors were really weird imo. Could've worked better with grey and orange.
I remember what the old set reminded me of: Queenie! If nothing else, it should have been the starting furniture in her house in NL.
I didn't mind the old set, but like several other people have said, I too like the new one in NH much better. It looks like it can go with the other furniture better. The purple old one, not so much.
wow ive never seen the old one before. i can see now why people in general much prefer the new harvest series
not that it is necessarily bad or anything, it just doesnt fit with the occasion as some people here have already pointed it out , compared to the warm set of colours in the new one that goes well with thanksgiving. and overall the NH harvest furnitures are just beautiful and look like they would fit well in your design all year long! <3
I definitely prefer the new horizons version! I didn't really understand the previous one and think it was pretty poorly designed. There's not a lot of variety in the colors and there's nothing cozy looking about them like the new set.
The new horizon harvest series furniture for sure! It just screams harvest festival (or in this case turkey day). The new leaf harvest series was definitely something, I wasn’t a huge fan of it. The only thing I did like about the older furniture version was the fact that it was purple and pink, but even then I don’t think I ever actually used any of it as decorations in my rooms.
if what we saw in the trailer is what the harvest series is going to look like, i absolutely love nh’s version! it seems to suit the aesthetic of thanksgiving much better and i really like how homely it looks! it also reminds me a bit of a calico critters set, which i’m definitely not complaining about!
