I was set on having Renee as a starter. She's one of my favorites and I have her in my new leaf town. I was about to start the game over and over to get her but some how my first start up she was there. I was so happy.
As for the jock character, It would have been nice if I got Kid Cat or Teddy, but Kevin would have been a great match for Renee's delinquent style. Instead I got Bill who I really don't like but he wont move out.
It was either Hazel or Muffy and I somehow got Muffy so I wasn't complaining.
Wasn't interested in any jocks at the time but I really liked that I got Sterling. He looks kinda cool.
I actually resetted so I could get Hazel as a starting villager, but if I could chose a jock villager to start with, it would either be Dom, Ribbot, Goose or Coach, I'm honestly not picky because even though I hate the personality, I like the designs of the Jock villagers
I'm glad I got two that I like, but don't plan on keeping. That way I can get my preferred villagers later, with better house interiors.
If they came with their "real" houses, I'd have liked Genji or Drift and Pashmina or Canberra.
I started off with Rocket and Sprocket. They were alright but I let them leave my island when they wanted to. Ideally I would've started with Renee bc I've always thought she looked cool, and Dom bc he's really cute and I love the sheep villagers.
I personally don't care what uchi villager I got but I would mostly prefer Mira (which is who I got) or Cherry. I would have loved to get Sterling as my jock character.
