Mayor Conor of Carragh
I'm seriously thinking about getting a new game cartridge and starting afresh in June. If I were to, I'm having trouble deciding on a town name. Here are my options:
Seacrest: This is the name of my current town. There's an estate in my county called Seacrest and I feel like it really sums up what I envisaged my New Leaf town to be somehow. It find it quaint, humble and natural.
Salthill: I live near an area called Salthill. It sounds funny but it's beautiful. There's a long stretch of promenade along the coastline. You can see the hills across the sparkling bay and you always bump into friends and neighbours walking along it. There are also loads of shops, including the world's greatest coffee place and ice cream parlour
Scariff: This is the name of the town where my father is from. It's a really beautiful rural town. Everyone there knows one another because it's so small. Beyond the village is a hill we have a bungalow home on. From there you can see half the county, lakes, fields and hills as far as the eye can see. Further up the mountain are lots of little woods and greenery. It's very peaceful and beautiful, yet you know that family is always close.
Carragh: Meaning 'Hill' in Irish. Pronounced Carrah, with short 'a's. This is the name of another estate in my county. Its a small area atop a very small hill, with trees, a green and lots of memories.
Let me know which name is your favourite and why
I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, what is your town name and why did you choose it?
