Which starter should I pick? Pokémon X

Froakie is awesome. But i say go with chespin because hes ignored. Poor guy.

I chose Fennekin, and was pretty disappointed by the end of my game. Definitely should have had Froakie on my team since the beginning but I really didn't like him or it's evolutions. Now Greninja is one of my favorites.

I chose Chespin even after my experience in HG/SS (where Chikorita was the worst Pokemon to go with for a beginner) and I didn't regret it at all. When I use water Pokemon the game gets really easy.

Why are so many people saying Froakie? Honestly that would be my last choice. I chose Fennekin and wasn't disappointed

fennekin, i always start with fire and catch my flying type to train them both together. imo fire and flying make a pretty good team.
