Which Jock Should I Get?

I'm undecided on who I should get for my jock villager. Should I get Cousteau, Coach, or Sterling or another jock villagers?

Rudy and Bam are best jocks.
Get one of them.

I'd rather avoid Bam since he's so popular, well deers in general. I have thought about Rudy though, I'm not sure, I just don't really like cats.

I don't know what MGS is, but if you aren't sure about Snake, what are you looking for in a jock? Do you have a theme? I see you don't want deer or cats, so is there something you are looking for? Colours? Size?

MGS=Metal Gear Solid

I just want to have a jock that I can relate to or there is some sorta of unique quality to them. All of my villagers have something that I can like. For example, I like Frita because she's a hamburger with french fries, she's unique. Ken since he's a chicKEN (so punny :3 lol), and he has my best friend's name like with Bianca <--she was just really cute as well so yeah no brainer for me.

I like Cousteau since he's French and I studied French and even went to France as an exchange student. I like Sterling since he's like a Medieval knight and I love the Renaissance. I like Coach since he's really close to my favorite high school teacher who was a basketball coach. So that's some of the reasons why I like them.

I wanted Rudy at first since he's cute and his nose indicates why his name is such, plus we're less than two months away from Christmas so I guess I can, but idk. I guess I could get Snake, but he's weird looking, then again the weird ones you usually fall in love with lol. The only reason why I don't want Bam is because of how popular he is, I usually like to stay away from popular villagers, but then again I had Diana, I have Tia, and I have Whitney so who am I to talk?

See that's the reason why I need help... too many choices!

Still, if you want to stay away from popular villagers (except for those few you mentioned!) Genji may be a good fit. I didn't care for him, but it may be not so much him as his theme that I just don't like.

Genji is pretty unique - I mean, he's a Japanese-looking rabbit! AND a jock! And he's not TOO weird-looking, such as Snake.

I'm thinking the poster who suggested him may be right.

Haha, yeah, I think everything through whenever I want a villager since everyone else seems to like them just for their cuteness. I wanna give love to the other "tiers", you know?

You see Genji is cute, but idk, I have an Asian villager Pekoe, albeit Chinese and not Japanese, but his house is so closely themed to Walt's that it's a little weird if I do get him. I don't like repeats of anything and so that aspect somewhat irks me, but I could deal with it, hmm?

Lol, figured that would help trigger it. My guy friends love the game series and so it's pretty much ingrained into my social life!

I have a preference for Sterling because I like the eagle villagers in general. Also, though he reminds me of a pigeon, Sterling is well designed.

However, my favorite jock is actually the monkey Flip.

I like how the different shades of orange are distributed, and also the green inner ears.

I'd recommend Scoot the duck! He's like the only Jock I like that I've found. But honestly I think you should go with Coach.

Sterling has a really cool design. A knight eagle! He was my bud in City Folk and he's amazing so I voted for him

I also really like Teddy and Sly if you're looking for other choices. Do you have a specific theme you're going for? Teddy's in my town and he works really well since he's a bear and my town is forest themed.

Heh...well, dealing with a villager's house or tastes would be a bit like a thorn in your side, so maybe you should ditch the idea of Genji. You are right, having repeats would not be the best for you. Hmm...Kody? I adore him and he's a jock! But I don't know how you see tiny bears as jocks. He makes me laugh, but I don't know if you want to smile every time you see that little blue jock cub. Lol!

I get the social life thing about MGS. My hubby meets so many cool guys when he plays that game. I just wish that he hadn't totally given up on New Leaf, tho. On the other hand, had he NOT given it up, I wouldn't have more than one town for myself.

I just scanned the ACNL Jocks, and Cousteau... well, he's just not MY taste, but that doesn't mean that others shouldn't give him some love. To me he looks sort of like a cross between Prince and Cousteau, of course! But he looks like he would have made a better snooty than a jock. But again, Kody is a jock and he looks like a little lazy bear cub.

Aww, I really love Hamlet! I had to let him go though since he was in my hybrid area field and since Sylvia moved in from a wifi trade. Ugh, I had to move someone else out first and he was the main one that I had a reason to move out, otherwise he would have stayed forever. Same with Rod, just a completely bad spot and it was my fault since I was an idiot and didn't pay attention when I accidentally loaded my main character when I was trying to plot reset and so I can't get them anymore.

I hate Lyman btw, so if anyone suggests him, just no. I had him and I'm pretty sure by now I've TT'd at least 16 villagers out and after all that time, I still have an extreme dislike for him. Sorry to those who do like him. (Just a heads up)

Lol, I can kinda see the pigeonness. He's kinda cute, I've never seen him around in cycling threads though so idk how easy I'll be able to get him if I did decide on it.

Thank you! I hope so too, I've loved so many villagers and was so sad to have most of them leave, but I'm so close to my goal of having a perfect 10 characters that I like in my town and so it's a bug decision. I have a bear cub in my town so I don't really want Teddy for that reason. Sly's kinda cute. Reminds me of those camo jackets that my friends used to wear all the time in middle school lol

Kody's a no too, since Pekoe's a cub. He is really cute though. If only they didn't have a limit on villagers
