but really, isabelle never really bothered me. its 5 dialogue bubbles, its not that bad. orville can go shut up though

I only like Isabelle when she tells me there is a meteor shower or someone at the campsite. Otherwise she is useless.

I hate that I can't do much when people are over because I get a bit bored even though I love having my friends over and visiting their islands. Orville can do one too with his dialogue. JUST LEMME VISIT PEOPLE NOW.

just like in splatoon 2, gotta go with the daily announcements.
there's literally no point in making me go through a dumb cutscene if you've got nothing to announce. also, why on earth are there so few things that isabelle will actually mention? she only has like 3 different announcements when there are a bajillion things she could announce like all the special NPCs for a start

it's only a minor annoyance, but it does kind of upset me that isabelle sucks so bad in this game lol. all she can do is change the town tune or flag and talk about quiz shows

Why is the choice you picked annoying? idk
I picked the top three. I think Orville is slightly worse, though. What specifically bothers me about Orville is if you type the wrong dodo code and instead of letting you edit it, you have to go through the entire thing again.

OMG I KNOW!! Every other NPC asks "can I help u with anything else?" but not with him! You have to start all over again :(

Definitely the Orville speeches you have to sit through to leave or have visitors. Although it wasn't an option, the excruciatingly long cut scenes when people are flying over is a pretty good contender too!

Definitely tools breaking. It probably wouldn't annoy me if NH was my first game, but since I've been playing since Gamecube, I'm used to keeping the same tools forever.

Orville asking a billion questions is a close second but I don't travel enough for it to affect me and Porter did the same in New Leaf.

Orville for sure, every time I accidentally hit the wrong response and have to sit there and listen to him ALL THE WAY FROM THE START! Orville why???

I like Isabelle, and I like the morning announcement. Her dialogue can be fixed quite easily. She should say Good day, give the time/date, maybe mention the weather without repetitive anecdotes (something like "it seems like there's a storm forecast for this evening, so make sure you carry an umbrella with you!" or the mention of meteor showers or simply it's a lovely day)... and mention any npcs/campground visitors or events. I don't want to search, somebody let them in, I want to know about it.

Once in a while she can mention something funny, but those anecdotes should be expanded (don't just change one word) and be used sparingly. None should be repeated in the course of a month. I would rather hear one original phrase a month and have it be unexpected and special, than hear the same thing over and over.

Orville talking up a storm. I think I know why he talks a lot. Isabelle is practically a loading screen. You're probably restricted from doing anything to your island when visitors are over because they don't want you fencing them in. Stalk markets trying to be like the stock market. You should take bad villagers in the beginning because they don't have the correct house set up. Tools break. I'm not really bothered by it. I'm surprised they didn't do this sooner seeing how the axe would break in the very first Animal Crossing game. I'm not sure what's wrong with Tom Nook.

orville's and isabelle's dialogue are about the same: i always play online, i know that everyone can come if i share my dodo code with everyone, why tell/ask me every single time? orville could just ask something along the lines of: "the usual?" and isabelle literally tells me there's nothing going on on my island when flick/cj/redd/gulliver/celeste/wisp/anyone is on the island and I either miss them or take 10 hours looking for them...

I love isabelle. I was so excited to see her and have her on the island. I wish she was a little more interactive and had more things to say.
Like ... gurrrrl you're in charge of morning announcements. Wake my butt up! Give me a little more than what you watched on tv. Tell me about a villager or give me a weather report. Tell me who's in town. Tell me your favorite color or why you have a rum and coke on your desk... haha. ( working with nook must be hard)

Is that what that is on her desk? That explains so much
