Which game should I buy?

Recently I had sold all of my wii games to gamestop (and I got 2 cents and a paperclip, jk) and I got 35 dollars. I was planning on buying another copy of New Leaf or Wild World or whatever, but I would like to hear your reccomendations. I only have Nintendo consoles. I would also like it to be similar to Animal Crossing.

Did you get $35 in rewards or cash? Because if you got it in cash you can spend it on that newfangled Animal Crossing app coming out this fall. But if you don't want to do that, what about Happy Home Designer?

Maybe Harvest Moon? I dunno which ones are good and which ones are bad, but from my understanding it has a similar loose tone to it.
