Which future updates are you hoping for?

• Something for multiplayer, whether Tortimer’s island returns or it’s completely new.
• Harriet! We need more hairstyles and colors, especially for curly hair!
• More reactions. Ideally they would include things like dancing, sitting, and reading.
• Label should join back up with her sisters. It would give Able’s a second story, and a bunch of new items.
• Similarly, give Lief a greenhouse at Nook’s. With the likelihood of more veggies to grow, it would be useful to have him always there.

I would like Leif to have his own shop. I loved how his shop looked in NL and was always a but sad it got merged with the Nooklings.

I would love more furniture and a Shopping cart in the Able Sisters. I would like more opportunities to play more games with your villagers like hide and seek and schedule visits to their houses.

I really dont want to expect much because I enjoy the updates more when I'm not expecting things. I thought I would hate growing veggies in ACNH and I love it.

I really wish there were large stacks for some items, why do some go to 99, some go to 30, and some go to 10? Just all go to 99 or 30, please. I am hoping we get stack purchasing or crafting. Purchasing multiple pieces of clothing at once from the dressing room. On a more normal note though, I hope they do a personality update, giving the villagers more to say. Other things that would be nice is the addition of more pocket camp sets, there are so many well-loved clothing items and furniture sets that never made the jump from NL to PC to NH.

Other than that, base NL content we are missing and have wanted back repeatedly:
Harriet, even if it's not hairstyles have her sell wigs, hair dyes, etc.
Give Kicks his shop back, anyone else think it's odd he's a traveling salesman again? Add back some of the unique sets.
Having Brewster move back into the museum is a downgrade tbh. In past games we build these characters up and to see them resorted to traveling, etc. makes it seem like they failed in a shop.
Where is Gracie? I hope she gets her own place or at least relegated to visiting too since a lot of her furniture is top mark.

I want quality of life updates the most, sure new content is exciting but I’d rather existing things get an update. Things like:

• Crafting multiple of the same item at once
• Having a “shopping cart” at the Ables so you can buy multiple colours of the same item at once
• Transformation wands need a big overhaul. I love them but they are super limiting. Let us shop at Ables while transformed and update our dream with Luna. Also enable us to put wetsuits as an outfit. (I hate having to detransform, unequip my socks and shoes and then put on my wetsuit. Then vice versa to change back).
• I’m sure there’s more I’m blanking on at the moment but you get the idea

oh my.. i have way too many.

1. bulk crafting and bulk buying for nmts and bell vouchers.
this bothers me so much! i really wish i could craft multiple of the same item instead of having to craft individually. but this doesn't bother me as much as not being able to buy nmts in bulk does. i hate just sitting there and going through and buying each nmt one by one.. pLeAse nintendo! and while i'm on the subject of crafting, please please allow us to craft using materials from our home storage, i hate having to have every material in my inventory in order to craft something.

2. adding back the sanrio and welcome amiibo villagers (not villagers like maddie, i mean like, epona.)
this isn't as urgent as other needed additions, but i personally really want it. i really miss chelsea and epona and they would also be a good way to introduce more special furniture, like the sanrio, zelda, and splatoon furniture. i mean, they're already going to add mario furniture to acnh soon due to the anniversary. and maybe they could even add some new special villagers? i mean, i'd kill for a midna villager somehow, just saying.. they could maybe use adding new special villagers for new species or personality types, but that may be a stretch..

3. new leaf and pocket camp fortune cookies!!
this would really add onto my other idea! in nook's cranny, there would be two fortune cookies in the store each day (kinda like in new leaf??) and one would contain special items based off of other ninteno stuff or something, and the other fortune cookie would be one of the fortune cookies from pocket camp, and they would have one of the items from the pocket camp fortune cookie. this would be so so cool!

4. more things for the nookphone!
i always struggle to find my villagers on my island, and i will run around frequently looking for a specific villager.. maybe they could add a texting feature, where you could text your villagers and it would help with finding them. you could also use this to invite them over to your house, ask to play games with them like hide and seek, and they could do the same to you! these were things you could do in new leaf. it would really add to friendship with villagers.

and finally..

5. add some minigames!
the only game inside the game you can play is the treasure hunt, and i've literally only done this once and needless to say, it was a little.. underwhelming. please add back the hide and seek, nintendo.. i always played the island tour about it and always had fun playing it on my island. also, there were literal nes games in the gamecube game, and you could get a 3ds with a puzzle game item and a wii u with a desert island escape game item, and these were both playable! maybe they could bring this back in someway, and you could play a little minigame! maybe an improved amiibo festival or something? i don't know, i thought it would be a cool idea.

oh yeah!! i almost forgot! please let kicks set up shop on my island again..

I personally would like to see the following:

• The return of previous NPCS in substantial fashions. This would look like the ability to have fortunes told from Katrina, to visit Brewster's café, and so forth. I'd like for them to come back in a more substantive way than the cameo appearance that Rover made.
• More progression in the game, and more buildings. This could look like having more upgrades for the Nook Store, and having to complete certain tasks to bring back shops, as we had to complete in New Leaf (eg. having to collect signatures for Club L.O.L., having a certain number of fortunes told before Katrina moves in.
• Increased furniture variety. I would love to see furniture from New Leaf coming back into the game, like the Alpine Set and Sweets Set! Specifically, I'd love for this furniture to be of a different style than what we already have in the game. There aren't a ton of whimsical or luxurious items in the game, for example.
• Mini-games! It doesn't necessarily have to be games from Tortimer's island, or games like Desert Island Escape that are ported directly over, but something similar to that would be great. I loved playing those in New Leaf, and I think it would add an extra-fun dimension to multi-player games that we don't quite have yet.
• More quality of life updates. Things like being able to craft in bulk or additional storage space (eg. through museum rooms or locker space) would be excellent additions to the game.
• The ability to place rugs outside! I have so many rugs and not much space for them!
• Increased villager dialogue. I feel like I've heard so many of the same things from my villager. I think Nintendo could work on both inserting more actual dialogue into the game and tweaking its codes so that more diverse dialogue is actually pushed over villagers talking about upcoming events or things that they saw you doing.

like others, i’d absolutely love some new furniture, specifically furniture from pocket camp. the game itself is hit or miss but there’s no denying that the furniture is amazing!. we got a taste of pocket camp with the new spooky carriage and so, i’d love to see some more of it in the future

and in terms of quality of life updates, i’m still rooting for being able to craft in multiples, an “add to cart” option at able’s and being able to put diy cards into storage c’:

I agree with everyone here. I really, really hope they add old furniture from NL and new furniture from PC. There's so much good stuff! I'm holding out that they'll have a massive update like Welcome Amiibo, which added furniture that was seen in Happy Home Designer. So hopefully they'll do the same for NH. *crossing fingers and toes*

I also want to see old NPCs back, other than the possible ones mentioned in the datamines. Like, where's Tortimer, Pelly and Phyllis, Pete (he could fly around the island to deliver mail), Katrina, and freaking KAPP'N?? Where are the staple characters?

I also want to see them do something with the dock. I feel like they're going to do something with Kapp'n because we have one, but I'm surprised it's taking so darn long to show up in the game.

New hairstyles and colors. Please. Blue and green skin? Great. Golden and lavender eyes? Also great. Now if we have light brown hair and white hair, that would be amazing. I hope they incorporate it in some kind of Christmas update since you know, I imagine there being a Christmas outfit and there’s no better hair color than white which is currently unavailable in the game, only a light gray.
I know that this is probably too specific and unlikely but I would like to keep hoping that this happens.

All the NL items including RV, Zelda, MH, HHD etc to be put back in.

Harvey's island to be used the way it should be - to host RV's so we can buy items with Crook Miles since they are utterly useless.

Once we have the items back, we can actually start to theme our islands, and they can give us back the proper house size, styles and exteriors so we can theme those too.

I mainly want an update that lets us spend NMT for a permit to rename our island. And, as others have stated in one way or another the Museum upgrade that adds Brewster and an Nooks upgrade that adds Leif and Gracie, with her high end furniture sets. As well as a Able’s shop upgrade that adds Lable and maybe Kicks.

many people have already mentioned these, but here's my take--

• tortimer island/island tours - maybe they can re-introduce the tropical fruits and introduce more beach-themed (not shell or rattan series) furniture through this too
• activities that involve villagers - i'd like to see my villagers involved in the action. i'd like hide-and-seek and house visits to return. i didn't play ac before new leaf, but the sports fair games from previous franchises seem fun and i think those should make a return too. basically anything that encourages more villager interactions!
• brewster/coffee shop building - i would prefer the shop to not be part of the museum. what i absolutely don't want is for brewster to have a traveling coffee cart or truck. with all the alternating npcs (and possibly future ones), i would dislike the idea of seeing him once a week or so. also more cafe-themed furniture and clothing would be neat!
• *bug-off/fishing tourney improvements - *might be an unpopular opinion* this is very idealistic and i doubt this will be changed, but i want to compete against my villagers for trophies and have awards ceremonies again like in NL. i want the timer feature to be eliminated. my villagers talk about trophies and it really bothers me that i only see them fishing for most of the day without seeing their score and them getting awards. also i think it's better to get one bug-off/fishing tourney item per event, much like one birthday item per birthday. the current dynamic makes me feel like i'm the star of the show (much like the lack of villager activities), but i want my villagers to get the same attention!!
• store expansions - nook's, label to able sisters, gracie's, kicks. nook's and able sisters to have an expanded selection. i'd like gracie's style of furniture and clothing to be introduced. kicks to have things like capes and wings (besides impish wings) for more fantasy-themed styles
• more hairstyle and color options - i want to see more messy and wavy styles added. also i copied and pasted my post from another thread "I'd also like to have a selection of bangs and eyebrows that are optional and can be customized. There are custom design patterns for face paint, but I feel like they only look great with a hat equipped. It'd also be nice if people could mix and match bangs from other hairstyles or remove bangs if they don't want them."
• expanded catalog - we're eventually going to get new items, but i'd like to see NL, HHD, and PC items to return. also NL public works projects as items - bring back the topiaries, trellis, and windmill ‼ and more food items
• crafting improvements - the option to craft a certain quantity of items and the ability to craft with materials in storage
• shopping improvements - i'd like there to be a cart feature for nook's, able sisters, kicks. it's easier to grab everything you want in one go. also the option of deciding which items will go to storage or inventory.
• airport improvements - sometimes i type the dodo code incorrectly or the other party gives me an incorrect one. i'd like there to be an option to re-type the dodo without having to go through the dialogue again. i also think orville's dialogue should be shortened..

Agreed. I especially miss the light brown in previous games. The lightest shade we currently have is that auburn color and like several shades of dark brown/black. It’s weird how we have had that light brown even in Pocket Camp but not in New Horizons.
