Which fencing do you abuse the most?

I use the simple wooden fencing. I have never crafted any fencing; I only use the 50 units of fencing that you're given towards the beginning of the game. All I really need it for is to fence off my airport for trades / people who want to sell turnips / get DIYs at a house that's close to the airport.

I used hedges the most, then the iron fences. I just like it better than most fences because I find it visually appealing.

Fencing is a bit of an eyesore apart from the hedges.

I used stone fencing around my house.

Hedges for the villagers.

Hedges and Lattice fencing dominate my island, they are both just so aesthetically pleasing I can't help it!

Hedges and simple wooden fences. I like the simplicity of them. I also use a bunch of wooden stakes, which aren't technically fences, but that's what I use a lot for fencing away from my neighborhood area.

If I were to pick one that I could easily over use, it would be the hedge fence. I probably already have used it a bit too much.

i don’t use the fences all that much but i’ve used the simple wooden fencing for a garden area and to separate villager houses from one another, the hedge for my fruit orchard and the iron-and-stone fence for my house ;;

Simple wooden fencing and the country fencing. I want to do the hedges but I am way too lazy to replace all my fences on my island lol

Definitely hedge fencing! Ever since it was added, I feel like I've replaced several fenced areas with it because I like how it looks more. Now if only they'd add a white picket fence...

They literally had white fences in the trailer 😒 then the game comes out and they’re like just kidding, here’s some wood fence options, all very similar in colour but none matching, also they’re all different shades from the 102338 wooden items you can craft 😁 good luck

As you exit the Airport. You enter what I call the Garden District. The Garden District is the largest of the districts on my island. I have the Museum, Resident Center and Campsite in this district. I use Hedges A LOT in this district. It is used to divide different zones. There is the Drop Off zone, just outside the airport. The 4 Pond Zone, The Stone Sand Garden, The Rainbow Square, The Museum/Res Center/Campsite and Tea Lounge.

Now there are a couple exits to this District. One leads to the Residential Hill. Residential Hill is along the back side of the island on the other side of the river. 6 player residents live here in 2 by 2 housing leading up to the top. The hill has 3 levels. Floor, Orchard and River Top. I use the Blue Iron Fencing as a border along the edge of the hill. Helping to frame everything and looking like security fencing. To protect people from falling. I use it on all levels except floor. I also have two rows of trees. One along the top and bottom of the hill. The top helps to provide void filler for all the empty background. The bottom is used to help mask up bare hill walls. Doing this brakes up the visual so it's not so plain. It also gives me access to easy tree bugs.

Just to the west of Residential Hill is Creators Cove. Creators cove is a spacious front yard and pathways leading to the 2 Main player homes. The are perfectly placed on each side of the rear beach. This is their private beach, but it is open to all. As Red seems to prove all the time. I use some bamboo lattice fencing to block the rocks and frame the back of the island. It is mostly behind the houses but peeks out enough.

On the west side of Creators Cove is Zen Hill. Currently Zen Hill is mostly a river top pond. It also house a shrine to Tangy. Till the day she returns to me....
Anyway, I use bushes as fencing long the edge of the middle layer. To prevent weeds and fossils from spawning on the edge. I hate when weeds or fossils spawn on the back side of a hill edge. You never know unless you walk all the way around. So, just eliminated that possibility. :D

Lastly if you go south from Creators Cove. You get to Trinity. The town houses 10 villagers, the Sables and Nooks. Decked out with a nice town square park. With a Central Tree and Music playing everywhere. It is very relaxing. It also has wonderful beach and river access. I use some Bamboo Lattice Fencing along the west beach side to provide a sort of privacy fencing. The fence lines up with the houses but is open were the paths are.

And that is how I used fencing. Still doing finish touches and creating deco. I am off to get Trees from a Nook Miles Island so I don't have to wait for the grow. I am using the stumps as gates in the hedge fencing. So people can get in and out. As well as to attract stump bugs. :D

My Island is mostly designed to function but I still try to add visual appeal to it. My style I guess. :D

Honestly I use most of the fences pretty equally across my island. Oddly, the hedge fences I have absolutely none of on my island at the moment. I LOVE the way they look but I guess I'm still too lazy to redo the fences I had up before the hedge ones came out lol
