It was stone fencing in the early weeks of my island (I have 120 of it in my storage! - don't know or remember how I had the resources for that), but now I've spammed brick fencing and lately hedge fence in my central downtown area. Out west, it's much more varied; in the northeast I've used a bit of lattice fencing but don't like it all that much tbh.
The iron-and-stone fence might perhaps be more suited to the theme of my downtown, but the few times I've tried to use it I felt like I was in a prison.
I don't have tons of fencing, but each area uses a different type, so I can't say I've overused any one. If I counted up, simple fence is probably the most, since that encloses both the playground and my hybrid garden.
Same!! They are my favorite because they look so lovely and almost work with everything. I also use the lattice fence to the same degree. I have the brick one around my shops and rs building so i would say it is kinda used a lot too! The only two other fences i use are the blue one and the one you get from Tom at the very start but i am thinking of replacing it because i like some of the others more.
I used stone for absolutely everything at first. Now I'm redoing my island and using brick for residential, hedges for public works, and rope for ocean boardwalk. I'll probably use stone in the more rustic, elevated areas
i looove the country fence so much along with the hedge fence but since restarting i wont b able to get the recipe for it. sadtimes but sacrifices had to be made, plus even tho i liked it i hated how straight/clean it looked; i wish it was a bit more unkempt like the actual bushes. but ig its a hedge and those r pretty unifrom irl.
