Both my villagers, Raul and Alex (Male and female, both named after me!) have the "No, thats not it at all" face with the rosy cheeks because they are adorableeee.

And Im seriously considering making my other future 2 characters the ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) face but I MIGHT go for the super wide crazy looking eyes with the eyelashes for the girl. (The "Its a secret! - Im moving in - Yup!" one )

My mayor has the "Pretty sharp." face, and my other character has the "How'd you know?" face.
Mayor sort of needs the ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) face to deal with some of the villagers.

australia got the game a few days after the US and everyone had the 'first options' face so i wanted something different and chose these ones for my three characters!! (excuse the bad ms paint drawings lmao)

I had that face in my first town and my current. I used a different one in my second, and that's what encouraged me to reset one more time >w< I didn't like the other face as much.

Haha my face isn't very cute compared to the other options imo. But it's the face I got in Animal Crossing gamecube. So I've always picked out the same face since.

In GC, WW and CF I always chose the first choice (girl) because I have brown eyes and it's cute. When I played e+ about two years ago I decided to go totally different and chose the "yeah I think I will" half-lidded face. I felt more attached to this character cause the face was more individual, so for NL I also decided to go a little different from just "cute" and chose the bottom eyelashes face. It's cute but also a little odd with just the bottom lashes lol.

I picked "I'll get a place there" since it seemed the least strange but when I realized how generic it was I began to dislike it. I absolutely love the "how'd you know?" and "pretty sharp" faces so now my other two players have them. As soon as I get a second town my mayor will definitely have the "how'd you know?" face. >v>

I agonised over the girls "I'll get a place there" and "Yes, probably" before ultimately going with "I'll get a place there as I thought the large eyes and curled eyelash were slightly prettier eyes. I'm never going to be able to access any of the online features so I don't care if I have a generic popular face.

My mayor (girl) has the "You got it!" face, I decided on this as soon as I found Japanese face guides, so many months before I actually got the game. In the first face guide I saw, it was translated to English as "Secret->secret->ding-ding!" so my friend and I always called the face "two secrets and a ding-ding".
My second character (boy) has the "No, that's not it at all", as it's my second favorite.

I completely agree! I don't like the eyes of the blushing face that much, but the blush itself is too adorable to pass up...

I go the sleepy eyes, hehehehe. "Yeah, I think I will.".
It was a coincidence, I didn't pick. At first I hated it but now I'm really attached to my mayor's face.
I'm so happy that I got green eyes straigh away though, as that's my real eye color and the one I wanted ingame.


As for your choice, out of the two you are hesitating with I prefer the "I'll let fate decide".

I have the first "I'll get a place there." face on my mayor. I had no idea that those questions were meant to customise your character's face before I started. I thought the hair was awful, and was so happy when I got Shampoodle! I like the face though, so it all turned out good in the end.
