I dont like my map that much. I have 4 ponds which makes the town feel really crowded, which i did not fully appreciate wheni started my town. Also my fruit is pear, which i dont like that much.
I regret where I placed my house. I love my map, but when I started my town, one of my starting villagers had his house where I would have placed mine. Though that villager is Stitches (who I love), so he's still there over a year later. I probably would have been able to make his plot a nice spot in my town if I was willing to let him go, as it's right by the waterfall and the ramp to the beach
I'm pretty satisfied with my town map, which is lucky as I knew nothing. But it is working out well for me. I was really pleased I got apples as I love apples IRL. But I bitterly, bitterly regret my failure of imagination in naming my town after myself. My name is Rose and I hate roses both in game and in real life, so now I feel obliged to fill up Rosetown with roses, blerk.
I don't regret anything
But if I had to choose one of the 3 options, I would change my town name. Escissia is the German name of Vaniville Town in Pok?mon X/Y and I think most of the users here would pronounce it wrong ^^
However, as long as I am satisfied with all things, it doesn't matter
I like my name! I like my town map. I don't like my fruit. Pears, too, ugh.
I wish I'd gotten peaches!! They're way cuter.
My layout is awesome though. Straight vertical line going from Main Street > Re-Tail > My house > Beach > Dock. Heck yes. Also I was able to place the bridges pretty much just how I wanted them. I soft resetted for layouts like, three times maybe? I got lucky. <3
I'd kind of like a south-facing waterfall but then I wouldn't have the cool symmetrical layout I've got going. I have two ponds sort of in the middle of paths and things, I'd relocate them if I could I suppose. And I'd love circle grass for those stars in the winter, I've got triangles. :'( But all in all, I love Aurora and I'm never resetting. <3
I really regret my map, but overall I wouldn't want to reset. I put to much work into my town that I think I would cry if I reset. The map is "ok", it could be a lot better, but I guess I'll make it work! Hehe!
My town has like no room for Pwps I had a perfect place for the police station but Katt moved in right where I was gonna put it ... But I love Katt too much to make her move :3
I really don't regret anything at all; just some rocks that are in the way of some things, and how close my river is to my plaza (so I can't plant trees on the edge), but flowers will do. So there's nothing that bad
Hmm, I reeeeally regret picking the modern police station instead of the classic one, and I wish I'd placed my Mayor's house in a slightly different spot. Oh and I also wish my town had one less pond! But none of those things are nightmarish and I'd never reset because of them ^^
Three towns, and I don't regret anything. One of my towns has way too many rocks. That was annoying when I started landscaping, but now they don't bother me anymore.
I haven't really regretted anything. Sure, I have a few rocks which I wish I could move and on occasion, I wonder what Moonfall would be like with a different map but apart from that, I'm pretty happy.
When I first got the game, I knew nothing of different maps, fruit, grass, etc. I picked whichever I liked out of the 4. I am actually really happy, I have a winding river, peaches, and circle grass. I think the winding river helps plan pwps, and gives a flow to the town.
Oh yeah, and Town Hall is in the middle of the map
My second town Tricera was never supposed to be a town I cared for, infact it was a cycling town with a dinosaur twist to it. After a while I fell in love with the map and grew to like the name too. I have pears in Tricera aswell and while I don't take advantage of them much I still am happy with having them. I also have triangle grass which I'm really happy to have since it's my favorite variation. Both of my towns have the plaza, retail and town hall pretty close to each other on the left upper area and now I've grown so used to it that any dream town with a diff plaza location throws me off.
