Wolf Link comes from Smash Link, Smash Zelda, and the Wolf Link amiibo. Medli comes from Smash Toon Link.

That is the only thing standing between me and Medli >.< From what I've heard, you can't trade special amiibo villagers - but I'm more than willing to test this theory with someone The Toon Link (non smash) and Toon Zelda amiibos are coming out next month, along with Ocarina of Time Link.

Wow, I found the Smash Link for eight bucks, so I picked him up as well. Why not? I still haven't seen the Medli bird character, but I will wait until Toon Link isn't so insanely priced.
