Why does the villager I don't want to move asked to leave and the villagers that I do want to move out never do?! It's so frustrating... There are six villagers that I want to move and none of them will go >~< Blah

Does anyone else have this problem?

Also, on a sidenote...what T-shirt would look good on fuchsia? I want to replace the ugly duck shirt she's wearing now?

I've found that actual befriending them makes them want to leave, which is probably why the villagers you want to keep are the ones trying to move. This tactic worked for me with Gruff and then when I was trying to get Katt moved out of my boyfriend's town.

this happened to me with Broffina the stupid chicken. I hated her so much
I believe villagers asking to move happens randomly. you either have to be patient or tt until the villager you don't like asks to move.
as for fuchsia, I think many rock n roll shirts would look nice on her: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Rock_n'_Roll_Clothing

Thanks for the advice XD and the shirt list :P

Thanks for the advice as well! I'll try doing this :P

How do you know when you've befriended them though? :P Noobie question lol ^^"

If it's a villager I want gone, I'll only talk to them once per day or every other day, while I'll talk to my permanent villagers as many times as I want. Doing this, I've never had a problem with getting unwanted villagers to move out.

Thank you! I'll try this out then :)

As they said, just talking to them once or twice a day seems to do the trick. Good luck getting out your unwanted villagers!

You have to build friendships with them or they simply won't move. I learned this after SEVEN hours of trying to get Ankha to keave. Take about the three days, write letters, run errands, have them visit, visit them and talk to them A LOT. I promise you that will solve the problem.

Befriending them does help but there's a certain level of friendship where they ask to leave and when you agree with them they get upset and say they'll stay a little longer so they can become better friends with you

And when that happens, close the game without saving and reload it for them to ping again and they should stick by their decision to move.

Or if you remember what day they said they were leaving, just close and reload your game and TT to that day so they can't change their mind.

Lolz nice XD

Someone directed me to a video and let me know that ignoring them completely (after you introduced yourself once) is the best way to get them to move.

OR

If you've already talked to them more than once...create a secondary character and talk to them once (introduce yourself) then ignore them for a week...and they'll move XD

UGH I know right? I want almost all of my villagers gone, since I reset recently and haaate where they live and who they are but they just. won't. leave.
