Omg this morning a new villager Pierce I think tried to move into my park area, I was horrified, luckily I was expecting a new villager and was doing the trick to pick a spot. When I loaded up there was no new villager at all haha, safe for another day!
I have to say, the worst spot would be right in front of my house. It's a little bit irritating to always see a house standing right in front of me every time I begin the game.
I just reset my town, and I have a lovely place for my house, and the next day Agent. S moves in right infront of my house. So annoying! I cannot wait to get him to move out.
Sterling moved right in front of a bridge, but that was no problem for me. But when i want to change our bridge to another one i cant build them in the same place because Sterling lives there. I realy dont get it, he can move so close to a bridge, but when i want to build at the same place a bridge it dont work. so annouying. I must live with that one bridge i have till he move
I had heard that villagers could move in front of bridges or the beach ramp, so I had been working to place a street lamp a couple of spaces away from the beach ramps and each end of the bridges. Works like a charm, but then Coach plops his house on top of the newly planted apple trees that I was forunate enough to get from an American gamer living in Japan. Thank goodness I had saved back a couple of apples (didn't know the exact right spot to plant them). I now have planted an orchard along a narrow piece of land up by the train tracks, to narrow for any houses to be built there, so my trees are safe. And while I was getting over Coach's moving in, Fucshia plops her house right next to mine, where I was planning on putting in a nice flower arch and bench. I haven't spoken to her at all since she moved in.
I didn't even know they could park their house 1 tile away from a cliff exit ramp... I think the most annoying place a villager has placed their house is in front of my town hall (literally 2 tiles away from the stone bricks). It's not the most annoying compared to a lot of other people. I guess I'm a bit fortunate (for now).
You know what I don't get? Villagers can place their houses next to bridges and ramps, but when I try to get a bridge within 5 spaces of my house, I can't! Not allowed.... wtf
I convinced Cherri to move into my town when she was camping at my site (that I placed in a specific area to be as isolated as possible). Where does she move in? Smack dab in fron of the campsite. Nothing like camping in the backyard?
Rosie moved 2 tiles away from my Cobblestone bridge, which I really want to tear down and replace with another Fairytale Bridge... Rosie is lucky I love her so much! She's actually the one that suggested the Fairytale Bridge in the first place, my favorite bridge. So I'll just patiently wait.
Also, at first, I thought it was slightly annoying when Mint moved in front of my house, but now I don't feel as annoyed because it could be a lot worse, there's still a bit of space. (4 tiles isn't so bad... At least she isn't 2 tiles away.)

I was thinking the same thing! I am the damn Mayor! I should be able to do as I please! They should integrate petitions for the Mayor to create when a home is in a non-welcome area of town to be moved. Assuming they couldn't just fix that glitch.
The most annoying place for a villager to move into was where Velma's house was. She has moved out now, which I'm glad about. (Bottom right corner of town, old version of my map)
A few days after I got the game Molly the duck moved in. My house is on the corner of my map because the river make sit a private little area where one of my two ramps is so its like a private beach. Then Molly moved in right next to my ramp and house. So she blocks my house and ramp. Ugh. It's a good thing everyone else likes Molly because she is really easy to trade for other villagers.
Argh you're worrying me for new villagers. I didn't realise they'd build on my trees D: I thought Pashmina was annoying outside my town hall but compared to these it's fine. Although Biskit has also moved like a space from my ramp as well but I just squish past.
