I've decided to finally build the caf?, but where should I place it? Please give me your opinions on where I should place it, and why!

My town map. ^^ The villagers and blue house aren't permanent, I'm also planning to put a bridge in the river-bend above Re-Tail.

I'd greatly appreciate it if you could help me out, thanks!

I have already placed a windmill in that spot atop Re-Tail, I'm planning to make a tulip field around it. Should I move that or..? I'd like it to be near the river and it takes a fair bit of space, I'm not sure if there's another spot if I place the caf? there.
The space below the lake is actually a good idea! I'd move it a bit down since I have a path there, but it'd fit nice by the bit of land that sticks out and it's close to the beach. I might have to move out Fang, however, and I'm quite fond of him.

Hmm ok, you can try place the cafe below the lake and see if it fits

Hmmmm, personally I like having my buildings in groups! I would put the cafe beside the retail, beacuse in my mind, a villager might want to go shop and then grab a coffee ;)

I like the idea, but then there would be a path right in front of it, which gives me little place to decorate... Maybe it would work next to the pond though? There isn't a path there and then it'd be near the beach as well.

I would like some more advice, please!
I've tried placing it near the beach as Utarara mentioned, but Fang's house obstructs it. :( I don't really want to move him out, and moving the caf? to the left would look a bit awkward... Ideas?

I'm also one for having my buildings close to one another/in groups - would it go either side R-Tail? However the problem with that for me is the caf? is tall , so you 'lose' the land that lies behind it.

I always try and place the caf? up against something (game should allow you to build one space away from a boundary (I think).
So other areas I would look at is by railway tracks to left of Town Hall - but guess that might be too small, no harm in trying - I've managed to squish things in quite tightly, including the caf?.
Otherwise top far left - by the railway tracks - bit out on its own there, but its a possible.
Or above the plaza to the right of the bridge.

You can always go ahead and place it somewhere, don't give Loid any money and you can if you don't like it, cancel - you can't build another PWP that day, but you don't lose any money (so long as you don't donate any).
I like where you are planning to build the windmill, tho I suppose you could put the windmill on the north side of the river in the other bend of the river - if you have already built the windmill and you like it where it is, then I'd go with the caf? else where.

- I have a path from Re-Tail leading up to my house and one to the left to the bridge, so it doesn't really fit next to it.
- I'm not sure what you mean with to the left of the town hall, unless you meant behind it, though I think that's too hidden. By the pond (where the blue house is) would be possible, though.
- I do like that idea, but would it fit there? I believe the area is too small...
- Unfortunately, there's a rock there. :( If it wasn't, I would've put the bridge there but the rock blocks it - I would've loved that caf? location, really.

- I've already built the windmill and I like where it is, I'm making it a typical Dutch (my country) area, and water is a nice addition. If I put it above the river, it can't be in the bend and there's a path there as well - it wouldn't really work out.

Thanks for your message, it did help me!

Yes I meant to the left & behind the town hall - my reasoning is the caf? is large and tall so putting it up against a boundary (like the railway tracks) saves space and leaves more for PWP etc in the town. I wouldn't mind if it was hidden!
By the blue house would work really well - if you can squeeze it in.
Or out on its own, to the far left by railway tracks & cliff. tho that might be a good place for a campsite.

I found going around with Isabelle in tow god fun with a dose of frustration added in, a slight move on your part can change her no to a yes so its worth taking time and trying & trying.
If you think a location might work you can set it and then see what the space looks like once the plot is fenced & Loid is there - I do this with bridges sometimes because what Isabelle shows you what it looks like isn't always what you get when it is set up and fenced/Loid. So long as you don't donate any bells to Loid you can cancel it without losing bells (albeit I've not done this with the caf? - I think it works, long time since I got cafe). You can't make another PWP the same day, the fence/Loid goes over night.

Since the first part of town with the campsite is kind of packed like a city, and the other part with the Re-Tail is more country-like, if you find space on the first part of town I recommend building it there.

I think it might look good in the top left corner, above the river. I don't know if it'll fit or not, though.
