Post here some good places to get amiibo, and I'll add it to this post!

Europe
GAME
Smyths
store.nintendo.co.uk
America

Australia and New Zealand

Other

I personally get all my amiibo from GAME, mostly the website!

Amazon.co.uk is normally not that great to get amiibo because they have US shipping so people from the US (looking at reddit amiibo...) buy from there.
GAME.co.uk charges ?15, which is ?4 above MSRP so not that great to be honest.
store.nintendo.co.uk is normally the best because they are on of the only places to still be charging ?11, although they don't have much stock. However, they just recently (today!) restocked a lot for the first time ever which is very nice. ^-^

i forgot about the uk nintendo store

even though i just bought 4 amiibos from there lol

I suggest a section for Canada as well, since the amiibo stock situation is slightly different from USA, and some stores aren't even in Canada. Here's my non-exhaustive list of Canadian online stores:

EB Games - Great for the most common amiibo, but don't bother getting the rarer amiibo. Just hop on your nearest retailers and hope for the best.
Walmart - Great place to look forward whenever there's a restock online, as exemplified by how I managed to get a Fox amiibo recently.
Best Buy - The most leisure you could possibly get while getting the rarest amiibo there, provided you're there at the first few hours the said amiibo becomes available. That's how I managed to get a 3-pack Splatoon amiibo set without much trouble before it launches.
Amazon.ca

Argos in UK have some amiibo, occasionally some dates. I got my marth there so definitely worth a look if your near one!

The only good place for the U.S. is Amazon. That's it.
Why deal with retail exclusives when you can go on Amazon and buy them easier and months earlier since we get everything last for no reason?

In Australia it would be Target, Kmart Big W, JB HiFi, EB Games in store and online
For online only I'd say MightyApe, Beatthebomb and Kogan

In Europe GameStop is a good place. GameStop is a good place to get a lot of game merch, for okay prices. The Far Cry figures are amazing ASyaaskjflas;ksa;sgm.

I've bought off Amazon more lately, though my Splatoon amiibo came from GameStop.

Importing is less of a hassle now, since I'm never free for pre-order dates on the amiibo that are going to run out that day.

Kinda sad that there's not that many choices to buy amiibo's from in America expect the retail store like GameStop and Target and online like Amazon we Americans sure have it tough when it comes to amiibo hunting XD.

I got a black market going.
Slide in my PM's so I can scalp ya real quick.
Kidding. I hit up the usual: TRU, BB Target, Gamestop.
Toys R US is always stocked the best out of the 4.

I would suggest followed the Twitter account "@amiibonews" and get the mobile app so you can get notifications on when something goes up. They're normally quick and provide links.
I can't say "nowinstock" is that great of a site. It works nicely if you're trying to get a less common amiibo, but if you're using it to pre-order a new wave then you'll most likely miss it as nowinstock is about 10 minutes late to send notifications.

Thanks for the recommendations, Ramza. I'll be sure to use that first one sometime :)
