Where should I put the Police Station?

Got the idea for this from the 'Where should I put Brewster's?' thread, and thought it would help since people were giving out really good ideas.

Here's my town map:


I was planning on squeezing it in-between the town hall pond on the station plaza (where my character indicator is), but the fit it quite tight, and right above a rock.. Any other suggestions?

I think it would like nice next to your town hall (under the pond). I don't think you'd be able to fit it in between the train station and pond o:

1. In between your town plaza and coffee shop if it can fit neatly
2. Top right
3. Just under the town plaza, with the residents houses

Those seem the best to me, but just from the map it's hard to tell how it might look. Good luck choosing!

It fits just barely with a 5x5 area. I'd have to cut down one of my trees though...

The first one might work! I already have a major project below the town plaza and a project planned for the top right, but depending on how that turns on, I'll consider it too.

Another Question:

I have cedar trees lining my train tracks. Would you put the Police Station up against the tracks or just up against the line of cedars?

I say right in the middle of the café and the Town Hall, and put it just a few blocks south of the train station. That's my personal take, others have different opinions.
