Where should I post this? (Asking for game recommendations)

I recently received a few Nintendo E-shop cards and I don't know what to do with them, so I was planning on opening a thread in either Gamer's Lounge or the Nintendo forum. I was planning on listing the games I have and say which ones I like and which ones I don't to help people decrease the amount of games they can recommend, so it wouldn't be a "I don't know what game to get" thread, but a "I don't know what game to get, but here's the games I like and I'd like something similar" kinda thread.

Would I be allowed to post this? If yes, where?

I don't think we have a thread for this. I'd post it in General and not the Nintendo sub.

Since it's Nintendo e-Shop related, make the thread in the Nintendo Treehouse. You're welcome to list off titles you have or genres that interest you in order to better help others suggest things.

I will go ahead and post this now. I was waiting for the confirmation of a mod and I PMed one a while ago and didn't get a reply back, so I hope it is alright.
