I would say in the bottom right corner. On the little peninsula area. I like having a little corner of town to myself. ^^

Because if so, **** your character limit.

I tend to like having my houses somewhat near the river/beach.

Though that layout, near Re-Tail looks like it might be best, though you may get swarmed by future villager move-ins. Or bottom-right, though that not being near anything or having any decent paths might be a pain for you.

I would've said near the slope to the dock (basically what I did for my first house, though unintentionally), but your villagers seemed to of stolen all the good spots for that already.

No thats just some German word. My town name is Nekomori :3
Oh yeah they are placed bad, but I have cherries in my town too so I'll definitely keep it!

Somewhere at the top! my retail + town hall are close together at the top like yours and it is really useful to have them all close by!

Personally, I would talk to Nook in each of the below locations to see which one I would ultimately enjoy best. I think houses are best near the river, personally.
