I know 'mom' sends these items, but do you receive them randomly?

what i've heard is that she mails you a gift every month (each month is a different item, like april was tissue boxes i think, may is bags, etc.)- someone please correct me if i'm wrong though!

you're right about that one!
mom will send you a letter once a month with a specific "mom item" as a gift - what you get depends on what hemisphere you are in and which color variant it is is different for everyone. people were speculating that you get the other color variants in the following years, but only time (travelling) will tell.
