Where did you usually place trees?

I feel so picky but I'm having trouble with landscaping the way I like my trees! I saw a person put a circle of trees around their planted ceremony tree. I liked the idea, but everytime I try to attempt the same thing, my baby sapling disappears after a day or two.. Other than that failed idea, I don't know what looks best with tree locations.

Hmm.. I usually put trees where there is unused space o: I make little orchards of trees. Also, you have to watch how close you put trees together around your plaza, usually one space between them is fine, and then you could fill those spaces with bush starts c:
In my old town I put a zen clock, and put evergreen trees beside it, and also put my black roses there in a nice sort of pattern and put a water path around it.

i plant them randomly and then chop down the ones i dont like and keep and ones i do.

I plant them in areas I think would look nice. If I have a big empty patch, I plant a forest then see where dead spots are- if any. If there are, I cover that spot in flowers.

I put my trees where I have empty spaces.

I line (some) of my paths with them, and put them in spaces that PWP's can't fit into. o;
