Where did you plot your house in your town?

What do you like about that location?

I plotted my house in front of the waterfall (pic in signature) so I can always enjoy the stunning view

right in the bottom corner, in front of the river! it looks pretty cool, but i kinda wish i'd built it somewhere else, like the top of town near all the pine trees.

i built my house to the south, because there were no villagers there and i thought it'd be neat for the mayor to be all isolated. of course, villagers ended up moving in near me anyway, but it didn't bother me. plus, it's close to the beach, so i can hear the ocean when i'm in my house (at least in the rooms where music isn't playing)

I put my house near the beach in the south next to three of my starters. I know the villagers like to move in near the mayor, so I was trying to keep the madness contained to one area of town.

My house is also on the southern cliff. I love listening to the ocean when I'm in my house.

My house is located in the upper right corner of the map since I find it oddly pleasant to be in a corner like that.

In Serenade, my mayor's house is to the right of the waterfall. In Scrolwrk, my mayor's house is on a cliff overlooking the small waterfall that goes into the ocean on the left

South side near the end of the waterfall and the beach ramp. I just prefer my house near the beach.

I put my down south by the waterfall, I like the sound plus it's a nice private location with no villagers

I plotted mine between the cliff of the ocean, and a river. It looks nice. Too bad I can't upload an image. Not many villagers plot homes near mine as well.

That's really nice, didn't know you can hear the ocean from your house if it's close to the beach!

Top left corner by the train tracks, relatively close to the campground entrance. I generally never put my houses so close to the train tracks. I often like my house in the 'center' of my towns, near the river... but this location was very fantastic. Plenty of space to work with.

My house is next to a large pond and very close to Re-Tail. There's a villager house in front and back of mine so it's very cozy.

I put mine right behind the town plaza. I just really like how it looks off in the distance of the town tree. There's also a pond right behind it which is a nice bonus.

Right in the middle i did that becayse it was close to the river.

in a river bend in the north near the waterfall. i always plot my home in the north so i can surround it with cedars.

I align all my houses at the center
I especially love placing my mayors house in the zigzag peninsula.
