I know there have been a few threads asking whether or not to get a Japanese 3ds, but I was wondering where did some of you get your JP 3ds? (If your from the UK even better!!)
Thanks! x
Well, I've ordered my Japanese 3DS off from Play-Asia. It was priced at $219.90 USD ($40 more bucks due of its pricing in Japan), but that's not exactly the cheapest place as far as I know. Customs in Canada makes it even pricier, and I assume that Europe will also have to add some additional fees just to import it.
At the moment, the Japanese currency is weak, so downloading games off from eShop will seem to be cheaper than back in 2012.
I know hehe!! Plus they have so many exclusives that i want to get my hands on!
Is it true they charge your card to convert the money to JPY? or do you do prepaid cards? x
For me, I managed to find a really good one on eBay. It was used, but in great condition.
I managed to pay about ?70 including postage and packaging from Japan. It included everything, like manuals, and even had an extra UK adapter.
I'm not sure if anyone will be able to find a deal quite like this again, seeing as a used one on amazon is around ?135.
I would suggest using Play-Asia, as that is where I bought a Japanese eShop card (5,000 Yen) from there and I got it. Quite a bit overpriced but still a reliable place to order from.
