Where Did All The Pill Bugs Go?

So Celia asked to catch a pill bug for her and I agreed, I started hitting all rocks in town and nothing...I went in and out of builds hope for one to respawn and nothing. Whats going on? These thing used to be so common now there nowhere to be seen.

I often find that very common things disappear when villagers ask for them, yesterday I had the same issue with a dab.

...I hope my villagers ask for sea bass when I'm looking for coelacanths, then.

Ikr. Zucker asked me to find one and I just couldn't. It would suck if you won't be able to find a sea bass.
