When your dreamie moves away

So I experienced losing my second dreamie to moving and it made me sad (only because this dreamie, Lily, I've kept precious to because I've had her in all my AC games). The first dreamie, Jacques, moved away without me knowing because I stopped playing for months. Lily moving really got me sad because it completely slipped my mind that one of my villagers said she wanted to move until it was too late. At least the good out of this was I got two of my other dreamies and my boyfriend now has Lily so I can see her whenever I want (but it's still not that same). I guess I made this topic just to hopefully see I'm not alone when a dreamie suddenly moves away.

yes my favorite, Lolly, moved out when i was learning how to time-travel. one day i loaded the game and her house was gone and i had a goodbye letter from her in my mailbox! never saw her in boxes or nothin! from my campsite, i eventually got Kiki, another normal cat, which helped but wasnt quite the same. And then i got fauna, the normal deer, who as it turns out I like even more than Lolly.

so eventually, it works out...

I haven't lost a dreamy(thankfully) I keep a log of all pings and days in between pings I catch them all the time so far. So sorry to hear that you lost your dreamy. I don't know what I would do if i lost any of mine.

I had both Stitches and Zucker move away. It literally broke my heart. My two favorite villagers :c
I cried a lot but now I'm on a journey to cycle and get them back <3

Chester was my go to person for rumors of villagers leaving and he ever told me about leaving and I found out the day he was in boxes and I was so upset.

I've lost soo many dreamies due to ACNL hiatuses. ;w; I don't think I've ever had a TT'ing accident, but boy, those weeks when I'm too busy to play really kill me. Fang and Lobo were the toughest losses, for sure.

If you've already cycled through 16 villagers since he left, once Chester is in boxes for me, you're more than welcome to have him!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one though that was sad when losing a dreamie. I'll be close to getting Jacques again, which makes me happy, and I'm sure I'll have Lily again in my town! Just gonna take a lot of time.

Aww, I'm sad to hear that. I lost Winnie a few months ago, and stil haven't found another peppy who can replace her.

I had cookie leave just last night when I was TT-ing for blue roses. I'm not really upset, but she was one of my favorites. When one door closes, another always opens though! And in my case, Cookie plopped her house right ontop of a patch of blue/gold roses like 2 spaces from my house, and now I have that little area open, I plan on putting a pwp there or some designs/hybrids to commemorate her. Also she sent me her picture too! I'm gonna probably plop it in the center of whatever I have there, like a gravestone of her being gone. Also Bam left too, about a week or so ago, and he was my absolute favorite villager. I'm currently in the process of making a gravestone site there too, since he sent me his picture as well.

Always remember, it's not what you have or don't have, but the memories you make with what you were given!

Ohhhh my god if Agent S ever left me I would enter a period of ritual mourning or something. I have lost a few villagers that I'm still torn up about now (TIA WHY) but I have had Agent S as my close neighbor and friend for almost 2 years now ;-; In fact, I'm gonna go send her a present or something, NEVER LEAVE ME

This is by far my favorite part of HHD so far. I have had maybe 10? ish villagers leave throughout the time I've had Erintown and I have already designed houses for 3 of them (Pecan, Muffy, and Frita, all of whom I really, really liked). I'm going to scream and then take 10,000 years to do her house when I get Tia in HHD.

I was thinking about doing that for Lily as well! I mean she's not "dead" bur she will be missed from my town! That's a good way to think about it! I had her for over a year and we had lots of good memories, and my boyfriend has her now, so I can still visit her whenever I'd like! Once I get through 16 villagers, I'd love to have her again c:

My first Dreamie that moved away was Stitches and it was because I time traveled to far ahead.
I also lost Chief and Merengue because they didn't even ping me to move and Isabelle told me that they were moving.

I also lost Beau through time traveling and I was really upset but atleast I can get a different lazy villager!

The game is called "new leaf" so whenever I lose a dreamie, I just think, "well it's time to turn over a new leaf and get a new villager!"
