I was not intentionally trying to make this but it worked out in my favor. I was trying to fix my river a bit and this ended up being a thing. This will be the spot for my house once I move the Able Sisters onto the shopping district cliff that I have set up.

Also, I had, for a while, worried that I had messed up my town permanently, I ain't gonna lie and I almost reset. But I decided to try to see if I can fix what I messed up (mainly the river) and it's turning out a lot better than I had hoped as seen above

So for anyone out there who thinks they messed up their town with terraforming, it's not messed up, because you never know, you might end up creating an area like I did that might actually end up making things a lot better.

I admit I had a moment where I felt like resetting because I had wiped everything clean. Everything was flat and villagers and buildings (most of them) on the beach. I stuck with it and I’m happy that I did. Glad to hear it worked out for you, too.

I'm glad you stuck to it. I see threads where people feel like they screwed up when their started terraforming their town, and again, I felt like that too when I started changing thing and my town is still a mess but you never know what will become of your town if you stick with it.

this lowkey motivated me to finally get back into terraforming... I need to just give my island an overhaul

Wow! I love it, it looks so pretty! I have mine on a tiny island but the waterways around it are too thin, and i cant decide if i like them this way or not. After seeing yours, i think i might try experimenting with it more. and like you said, i might end up with something i lover better than the old one, or if not then i can just go back to it.

now this is definitely an "aha" moment that someone had created a thread for several days ago. looks fantastic! would be a cool place to do some fishing. great job!

I was goofing around with terraforming behind resident services and I ended up with a cliff and waterfall behind it.

Looks great! It took me a while before I started getting into terraforming and I felt like creating rivers and ponds was tricky bc the didn’t look natural it is hard to get them rounded or to curve in a natural pattern but I stuck with it and love what I have done with my island so far

Thank you everyone. :)

I think I might put some waterfalls behind there, I don't know yet, but it's definitely turning out better than I thought and since the Able Sisters is able to fit there, then I know my house will fit there. And I also have room on the other side of the cliff to the left so if I have to expand it, I can.

I'm the one who made that 'aha' thread a few days ago. Funny how it came full circle. lol

My residential services area also has waterfalls and a cliff behind it because that's where my shopping district is, and that part was actually planned. XD

I have CONSTANTLY been terr(aforming? I'll see myself out)ified that I'm RUINING my island while I try and do stuff omg. I think I finally have a reasonable handle on things by now... but lawd I completely know what you mean. Your house area is sincerely a Bob Ross-style happy accident though!! It's *perfect*.

Thank you everyone. It will be a while yet until I can move my house there because due to the asinine price tag, I can't move the Able Sisters yet. Yeah so much for my goal of saving money.

I'm redoing my island mostly from scratch, too. I took down most of the cliffs and got rid of my river (aside from the mandatory mouths). I've moved 6 villagers so far and destroyed a bunch of inclines/bridges. It's a lot of work and cost me a lot of IGB, but sometimes that's what it takes. I'm not 100% satisfied with the basic layout of my island, but with all my dream villagers and a massive catalog, I decided to work with what I have. I'm glad you found a good spot for your house, I haven't done much terraforming because I'm terrible at it 😂
