What did you decorate your house with?

I decorated, and still to this day decorate, my house with aquatic and insect life. XD;;

LIKE ALL THE TIME. Especially them sharks and crabs. x: <3 But I always have some sort of weird theme with it. I never usually get the mermaid stuff, or cabana stuff. Or even any sea inspired walls/floors.

But I like having a zoo of marine life and insects. ouo

Plants! Only plants, mostly from Leif's shop. The pretty ones, at least. I put a few gyroids in it to make it sound earthy, lol.

Are you talking about when I started playing Animal Crossing or when I started playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf? Because I've been playing since the original.

Since I was quite young I kind of just threw things anywhere
My basement was full of gyroids, and I had a pretty decent amount of bugs.

I decorate it with whatever I think of on a whim- for instance, my top floor was inspired by a song I heard, whereas my main room is a dedication to my favourite set, the Cabin Set. I don't care what Lyle thinks of my house.

yup, my whale shark was the center piece to my house. haha i still think they're awesome. i also used to store all of my bugs i couldn't fit into pockets / storage in my house when i was big into beetle / shark grinding.

Either which works. But thanks for your input. :D Gyroids are cute, but I only find certain sounds appealing.

Random things, at first. I really wanted the space captain furniture, but it's not part of a set, so I was never able to find it all. So I ended up decorating with the rococo furniture.

I actually forget. Probably something stupid though because I was dirt poor and barely had enough to pay off my loans.

do you have a dream address I want to decorate one of my houses with aquatic life too but I'm struggling with set up and what not lol

since I was poor I decorated with what villagers gave me plus the regal furniture which I tried so hard to obtain xD. eventually i learned we order stuff from the cataloge so i felt less ****ty about throwing out stuff my villagers gave me LOL.

I did a lot of sci fi stuff and then four whale sharks. Just, yknow. Hanging out. For no real reason.

In the first AC I remember decorating with cabin furniture and clothes. In ACNL I used excessive amounts of modern wood I think.

The minimalist set, because it's one of my favorite ones. I also had a shark in the middle of my main room for the longest time.

Anything and everything pink and feminine. Which I find hilarious to go back to and see that again in my old games, considering I remember very clearly at that age rejecting all things pink and girly in public. I guess I just grew up with that "girly things are weak and bad" mentality surrounding me, so I didn't want people to think of me that way. But in the privacy of my own AC town I could be pink and girly all I wanted. :')

I'm working on attaining the Rococo set for the main part of my house while most of my other rooms are simply storage for holding beetles overnight while Retail is closed haha! I wish I had the patience to work for more than one set because if I could, I'd have a kitchen, living room, flower room, and upstairs all decorated accordingly!

Sadly, I'm a lazy turd :S

Mostly very Bright and girly :) my upstairs "bedroom" is the weeding day set, the kitchen is citrus, and the basement is the Rococo set refurbished to white.

At first I decorated with random things, as in whatever I found haha. It soon turned into the Balloon set as it was pretty easy to get. It's now in my other Characters house, but yeah. Now all I have are sets I like in my house.

I haven't changed my house since I started AC and my first room is super christmasy. Like, anything that made me feel like christmas, I put it there (a lot of wood and red stuff but for some reason I don't even have any cabin stuff in there). Upstairs is my room which includes the princess set and other light blue things that matched it. My room on the left is like a japanese room with kotatsu, tatami, etc. The one on the right is a modern room, everything white stuff ye. The one in the back is my kitchen and it's just full of food and regular kitchen stuff. And my basement is the sloppy set. I never really fixed my room unless I had everything I needed/wanted so my current room is just from where I started it and no new ideas has come to my mind that's making me wanna change it. I never really liked having fishes, bugs, or any other random furnitures in my house so.

One of my first items in nl that I really liked was the claw machine. I started decorating with the mermaid series as soon as I could get pieces of it too. :p

When I started I was a big noob. I dumped whatever I thought was "cool" in my house. So I had a wonderful collection of wheat fields, and random spotlight items.
