I was thinking of letting go of pudge, my remaining original villager

When do you usually let go of an original villager/dreamie/villager?

When I find that they aren't bringing anything new to the table, or when I just get... bored of them. It's good to switch up your villagers, dreamies or not. It keeps your town fresh and exciting!

I agree. I wanted Roald for ages, because we were best friends in my first WW town, but when I finally got him, I realised I didn't even want him anymore. Now we don't speak unless I accidentally bump into him.

I let go of them when I just find find myself talking to them or making an effort to see them. Basically once I start to get a a bit bored of them. It's nice to have some new faces in town sometimes, freshens things up a bit. I change mine quite often, I've stopped that mostly now as I am very attached to who Ives got in town. I'll still be letting a couple go at some point to experience somebody new.

In my last town I let go of some of my favourite villagers just because they tried that hard to leave... I remember Fang asked to leave 3 times in one month, so I guess he really wanted to go lol. I kind of like how some villagers, who might not be my favourites, just never ask to leave... because at least they're enjoying the town right?! Oh and I also let go of villagers when I'm done with their PWP requests. I'm not fond of smugs but I need them in my town to request stuff.

I am plagued with indecision over this! Wolfgang is my only original villager and one of my favs. I've almost let him go a few times but couldn't do it in the end :O

If the Villager asks me to leave twice, I have decided to let them go. I know my game is trying to balance itself, so I figure it will help me in the long run. It's best for me not to have uchi Villagers because they wake up very late, and I work a 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule. Unless it is the weekend/holiday/vacation, I do not play mid-day.

I never let go. They are trapped in my town forever until they die.

I always have had a soft spot for my original villagers and I almost feel as if I NEED to cry and let the guilt go when I do. I regret my decision deeply afterward so I recommend u think a while before doing so. I know you probably aren't as addicted to the game as I am but still I feel for them when they finally say b-bye

There's some I will never let go. But I keep a certain percentage of villagers who rotate constantly (about half). If I don't form a big attachment, I let them leave.

But Marina, Mitzi, Eugene, and Rudy are never leaving. Never.

Im actually the type to switch up villagers pretty frequently but I kinda justify it by telling myself "at least I have Bam" who was one of my original villagers. I don't think I'd ever just let him move to be honest :p But for you, just let them go when you feel that the desire to get a new villager is stronger than the sentimental value you have for the villager. At the end of the day this IS a game and you can eventually cycle for them later on down the road if you miss them~

when you start to get bored of them I guess? or if you want another villager that you don't currently have more than the one you're thinking of letting go. there are a few villagers in my town who will probably be permies, but who knows? down the road I may get bored and want new ones lol. the only exception is fauna really. I know I will never let her go intentionally because she is my bff

if you even think about letting a villager go, you should lol you know which ones u wanna keep

I usually let them go when I get bored of them or am not too attached to them. I like seeing new villagers once in a while, so I don't intend to keep everyone forever (unless of course I happen to like them). :P
