When does school start for you?

August 25th I believe. :'(
On a side note, how many of you have required summer reading?
I'm in honors...so I have to do two books.
I can finish in a few days, but my procrastination habit buts his ugly head once again.

I also have two books! I already read one of them because we got to choose one off a list so I picked out a good one: The Glass Castle, but we're all required to read The Great Gatsby. I can barely get through the first page -_-

Well, last year I had to read the book, do a book report on it, watch the movie of it, do a book report of it....and then do a comparison essay. Aww~~ I cried a lot.
Not really, I just wanted to dig my own grave.
Apparently, my teacher's pet trick worked and she thought I did fantabulous.

I move onto campus on September 1st but I don't start classes until 2nd. Classes end by the end of April I believe.

I hate assigned reading, I've had to read an entire list since 3rd grade and write an essay. They stress about how important it is and how it's a big part of your grade, but I've never done it and the teachers don't care. I haven't done anything, and expect to find out when I'm back at school how this year it actually IS important. >.>

I have a good friend who son goes to school year round... they get two-three week vacations then go back. He wasn't happy going to school in the summer.
