Mine is Mocha and to me it rolls of the tongue well, Mocha coffee is sweet and warm and reminds me of a comfy feeling which I want people to feel when they visit my town and that's it really. c:

My town is called Solia!
Though I'm sure there was a deeper meaning when I came up with it, I can't remember it at all
I'm going to guess that I just slapped -ia at the end of Sol (Sun in Spanish), because I have a thing for names ending in vowels

Mine is Ukiyo! Here's the dictionary definition: The Floating World (ukiyo) was an expression of the new economy and social ambitions of the common townspeople of the Edo period (1615-1868). It was, specifically, a world of play and entertainment in Japan's three main cities (Edo [now called Tokyo], Osaka, and Kyoto). I like foreign words, and it sounds cute! Plus I like the meaning, aha.

Mines is called Beet∅n (with those dot things before and after I think) and honestly I don't know why. I have literally no creativity at all, specially when it comes to naming things, so I've never had a great town name, the "bee" part is self explanatory bc bees and I added ∅ because it looked better than an o and why not i guess. I need to think of better names but it doesn't matter since I'll be sticking to this town for a while

Chocolat- Chocolate is my favorite thing in the world but I couldn't fit the 'e' so it's the French spelling. My mayor's name ended up matching the initial sound and inspired the name for the other alts. My town is the color of German chocolate cake and the humans are lo/bro-litas.

The only town name that has any real significance to me is Bunifrey. My hubby came up with the name for me, and it's a mashup of Bun Bun and Gallifrey. The town was made as a memorial for our Princess Bun Bun McCloud. It's also my absolute favorite town out of my three copies.

Glendale. Bravest Warriors had just debuted (it had been out for about a week) when I got New Leaf for my birthday. I couldn't figure out a better name for it, so I went with a name from the first episode of Bravest Warriors (Moon of Glendale). I'm still happy with the name and I still love the show (season 3 comes out soon!!!).

.

i named my town eden because of that one guns n roses song garden of eden i was apparently into at then xD totally regretting it now kinda since its also a biblical place and im an atheist and not religious at all. if i ever find a way to hack my town i will probably then change it to edea or aida or niwa or something but im also kinda scared i will **** up my files and oh boy do i not feel like restarting. eden is my second town so too bad i dont remember my first towns name. >,<

My town is named Sorrel, and I just named it that because it sounded pretty :p It's a type of plant, too, so that's pretty cool

my town name is 2% - I chose it really randomly, I was at the korean grocery store and saw that drink and thought of it when I was making my town... ! it doesn't really have any significance, but it's pretty unique, I think!

Zebilage it's just saying the villager with a zebra touch so no origin

All my names I just like made up no orgin jajaja

Mine is Capucino (couldn't have Cappuchino due to letter limit reasons)
idk it is just something I like from what I remember originally born from the character chino

First was Free Bay, I named that because I was free to do whatever I pleased.
The second I named, Joy Lake, because I like having town words in my town, and Joy sounds nice and relaxing and I playing the game brought me joy.
Finally I named my newest town Newhaven, after losing Free Bay because Nintendo told me it would be saved when I transferred data from my old 3DS to my new one, it was the downloaded version, so New cause it's new, and haven sounds safe, a place you can go to relax.

My original town that I had up until a week ago was called Cooroy which is the name of where I live IRL. It seemed appropriate because where I live is a little town with lots of plants and wildlife and isn't too far away from the ocean. Cooroy also means Possum in the language of the original inhabitants of the area which just happens to also be my favourite animal. My new town I called Groddle which is named from an area in a MMO I used to play called Glitch and it's an area with lots of trees, flowers and meadows and in general is just pretty.

My town is called Hazzard, after The Dukes of Hazzard television show. :D

My town is called Lazy town and has 9 lazy villagers plus a lazy mayor who doesn't pave the paths or remember to pay for house enlargements or pwp's.

My town name is Mew because I was pretty well obsessed with the band mew. It was cute and simple so I went with it.

I named my town Pandomo. C: Originally it was going to be something to do with the word Fae, like Fae Grove or Fae Hallow, that's what I was thinking in my mind, but I didn't realize it wouldn't fit in the letter with the space, so I trashed that idea. I really didn't like looking at it without the space in it. So instead, I tried to think of nicknames I use on forums and such to turn into a town name or something. I use 'Panduhh' a lot, so I was thinking maybe something to do with pandas, but I still couldn't think of anything, then I tried word associations, and from panda, I got pandemonium since the beginning of the word sounds similar. I didn't like the 'e' in the middle of the word, so I changed it to an 'o' cause it looked nicer, and Pandomo was born. lol.
