What’s your top issue with ACNH?

currently, ranked in order of most frustrating to least:
1. Flower moving taking forever
2. Low storage
3. Crafting multiples/ stacking manila clams

let me move my river mouths and my rs let me move my river mouths and my rs let me move my river mouths and my rs let me move my river mouths and my rs

I've said this many times and I will say it again, the hourly music. In my opinion the game would be so much better if the music was more like New Leaf and other previous Animal Crossing games. To be honest, I even though Happy Homes Designer music was better than New Horizons.
Agreed! I was listening to a playlist compilation of the musics from old AC games, and I realized how much I've missed them.

Wish there was an option to buy one whole stack of items from the shop or Leif. I'm tired having to spam the "I'll buy 5!" button 10 times because I need a ton of flowers or shrubs. Buy one, buy half a stack, or buy a whole stack. For a game heavy on planting and decorating you'd think there was an option to buy in larger chunks greater than 5 at a time.

my top 3
1. Apparently im not the only one thinking this but i want more furniture in the game. its surprising how less furniture is in this game considered that NH is sposed to be. better than its predecessor
2. the report button. this button is a mistake and we dont need explanation on it do we?
3. one island per switch. what is nintendo even thinking?

the changing room. let the clothes stack up on you, each one u try on gets a check mark, if u dont want it all at the end of it just go back and click on them again to remove the check mark. also let us use it with our diving suit on, so annoying forgetting its on and have the dialogue

This was my first Animal Crossing game so i'm not really upset at the lack of furniture/previous content like others, but there are still a few things that I take issue with in this game. Gonna list out three because I can't decide on what one to use ;-;

1. The only one island per switch rule. It limits my creativity since I like the idea of having one rough theme per island, and doesn't let me experiment as much either, as I have so many ideas that just wouldn't really work on my current island sadly.
2. Not being able to buy multiple items/clothes from the two shops. Buying clothes can be a long and painful process, especially if you're like me and want to buy all the colours of a set. I feel like this wouldn't be very hard to fix/patch in to the game either, so it does really annoy me.
3. Only being able to order 5 things a day from the nook shopping app. If they want to stop people time travelling as much, at least make it easier for the people that don't want to so it's not as necessary. This problem becomes much more noticeable when buying lots of one item, such as simple panels or books to craft bookshelves, since I literally have to time travel a day for each and every bookshelf.

Like many of you have already mention in this thread: The lack of all the amazing furniture series from New Leaf. Like the cool Sloppy series, the classy Regal series, romantic Princess series and many more. And most of all that Space themed series with all the Star Trekky consoles, Captain's chair, holograms and other awesome items. I really miss those and hope we can buy the sets in a future update or upcoming furniture sets Amiibo card line for New Horizons.

I think to put the customize path in the horizontal way or to terraforming close to the trees or water way limitation thats annoy me sometimes.

1. Be able to close my gates from anywhere. I mean, I have a phone, I should just be able to call up Orville and be like “shut it downn”
2. Not have so many restrictions when I have visitors (example- not being to decorate with furniture)
3. I realllly wish there was a stacking feature ;-; when it comes to crafting, purchasing, etc.
4. Also can my villagers please stop constantly giving me gifts when I have 1-2 empty slots (that I NEEEED) in my inventory😭 & the fact my villagers will copy another’s catchphrase and have their shirt changed on their SECOND day as a resident - would love to have that toned down a bit.
5. (This should really be #1) Not being able to tell what variant of furniture you have in your inventory is pretty annoying. Would be nice to hover over the leaf in your inventory or smn & it’ll show you. It would make cataloguing as I go 100x easier.
I've said this many times and I will say it again, the hourly music. In my opinion the game would be so much better if the music was more like New Leaf and other previous Animal Crossing games. To be honest, I even though Happy Homes Designer music was better than New Horizons.
Oh wow, this too. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this opinion, I really dislike ACNH music. Sometimes I’ll hear ACNLs hourly music when my brother is playing😍 it’s just sad how much better it is than NH

My main issue would have to be the drip-fed update system. I wish it was more like New Leaf, where the vast majority of the game came upon purchase so we didn't have to wait to see whether we'd get classics of previous games like Brewster and Katrina.

There could still be updates, but the updates would be additional fun rather than fun that I kind of expected to get from the beginning.

(And this would include issues like lacking NPCs, lacking furniture variety, etc.)

Has to be the villagers. Sure, it's slightly better than New Leaf in that they do have a lot more variation in what they can say, they can interact with some of the objects and react to them, sub-personality types etc, but the problem is that they still repeat all the same stuff every day. I'm not joking when I say this - 9 times out of 10 when I first speak to Celia in the day for the first time, she'll give me the exact same line about 'plans being a fool's errand.' Then you have to listen to your villagers tell you what you did yesterday every single day - yes, I know, I dug up fossils yesterday, just like I do every day. I don't need all 10 of my villagers to tell me that.

They just feel overall bland, not enough to say, too much of their speech is robotic - they lack distinct personalities. Not even an ounce of sass, they're basically set-pieces in a dollhouse, which unfortunately I think the series will continue to go with this route. They really need to step up on the dialogue. And before you tell me it's on par with Wild World as someone did before, please just go back and spend a few weeks in that game. You can tell the difference night and day.

I would love for the villagers to interact more often, like in NL you could play hide and seek with them...

I miss those days 0n0

I would like to see Brewster come back! I miss the coffee mini-game so much. Speaking of Wild World museum things, I wish they would add the observatory back, as well. I used to love designing constellations and seeing them show up in the night sky!

Otherwise I just wish villagers would come to my campsite more often!

Along with what others have said about dialogue, the lack of Amiibo characters, Amiibo items and Nintendo items. I know not everyone cares for the characters, but I absolutely adored having Medli, W. Link and Epona all on my island, it felt like such a cool tribute. Hence why I was surprised when the successor of New Leaf scrapped them (for now at least).

I was even more surprised by the Nintendo items missing. Every Animal Crossing game has had them since Day 1. As someone who is a big Zelda fan, I loved having a Zelda Temple room and the Amiibo Zelda items made it even better, so I'm hoping Nintendo has all this planned to return someday. I also just really want to wear Majora's Mask again.
