Besides the obvious ones like the Cafe and police station... my purely decorative top-5 PWPs are:
5. The lighthouse - it just looks so good sitting on a cliff near the ocean!
4. Fairytale lamp - it's just gorgeous I don't know why~
3. Hot Spring - mainly because of how the villagers comment on it.
2. Windmill - it really looks good in any small town and it fits in just about anywhere; great structure if you ask me!
1. Fountain - it looks brilliant and I love having the one in my town, it's gorgeous! Best decorative PWP if you ask me.
1) Fountain. It's so perfect for surrounding in blue roses or carnations, and it looks gorgeous.
2) Street lamps, the gaslight Victorian looking ones. I love the aesthetic that goes with them so much, and the lights at night are so beautiful.
3) Instrument shelters. I use them in Baker as beehive boxes, since Sherlock Holmes retired to keep bees, and it just feels really nice to have the reference there.
4) The caf?. Coffee is such an integral part of my charas' everyday life.
5) The water pump.
(I've noticed that, despite what online guides say, the game only lets you build a combined total of 8 custom design signs and/or standees. My Goblin town, for example, has five standees and three custom design signs, I am unable to build more. So...I guess they could have counted as a single choice! Ha.)
I love the cultural PWPs; I love history and learning about other cultures ^.^. My favorite bridge is the Fairy Tale Bridge, though I'm really sad that I can't use it for my town since I'm using the Zen Town Hall and my "theme" is based on a medieval setting (not going to stop me from making the pyramid, sphinx or other things though).
