what's your opinion on spoilers?

out of curiosity, does seeing spoilers about a show you're watching affect you in any way? tbh i turn into a btch when i get introduced to spoilers about whatever show im watching. i try shut out the spoilers as im watching it but the feels just dont make as serious of an impact on me in the end as it should - like i saw a sht ton of quotes and scenes from the first season of american horror story before actually watching it so i was pretty disappointed after finishing because as i already mentioned, there were barely any surprises

however i do think that people who spoil things on purpose esp if the other person didnt want anything to be spoiled are *******s

it depends what it is really, if it's a big huge twist or some major thing being spoiled like a character death then yeah that's annoying

and people who post spoilers of a new thing without warning are lame as hell tbh

I like spoilers on cars. but. I really hate it if someone gives me spoilers on a movie or tv show. If it is spoiled I will not watch the show/movie ever.

Spoilers piss me off. So do the people who think spoiling othes just for the hell of it is okay.

I would rather not have spoilers. You only ever get to watch/play/read something once, so why ruin that experience? You can rewatch something and see all the little clues every other time, but you can only watch something for the first time once.

The only time I really get mad though is if somebody has gone out of their way to spoil something. If a friend does it that's just the worst, because they probably knew I was specifically watching/playing that thing and they definitely did it because they eat ****.

Except for a few really popular things though that everybody kind of knows about by default somehow, spoilers tend to be really easy to avoid anyway.

Though seeing spoilers kind of messes with the intesity of what will happen next and such but at the same time you are dying to see and dying to know it all! ahaha, yeah most of the time I will forget about it and then go on and find out it seems like a deja vuu or something. but for sure, spoilers keep away if possible because it can deffinitely ruin it pretty bad for others , Dx

I don't like watching trailers or previews for new movies coming out. It gives too much away. I also won't go on the Happy Home designer forum because I don't want to see the new furniture pieces that you can unlock.

I like spoilers. I love knowing what will happen, and I'd much rather know what happens so I can decide if something's worthwhile than waste X many hours of my life on something that turns out to be a disappointment.
