Cherries, just like what I had in my first Animal Crossing game. Cherries and apples are my favorite fruits in game, but irl, it’s apples and tangerine oranges.

Which is not what I was going for. I wanted either peaches or cherries... But after resetting a couple of times with no luck, I just settled for oranges. I didn't want to spend 10 hours resetting just to get a particular fruit.

Oranges to go with my orange airport, i reset looking for that combo with a nice map layout. I wouldve taken pears and a green airport too.

Peaches but I really wanted cherries. I didn’t want to carry my New Leaf bad habits to New Horizons so I just accepted whatever I got and worked with it.

Mine is apples, which Im quite happy with. Once you get the other fruit, it doesnt matter much anymore anyways.

Mine is cherries. I ended up getting all of them eventually. I scattered my fruit trees across my entire island!

Oranges, unfortunately. Wanted Apples but the island map I got on release was too good to pass up. Would have preferred apples, but at least it isn't pears.

Not like it really matters in the end, its all aesthetics in the end in a few niche spots (passport, etc). I don't HAVE to have oranges everywhere.

My native fruit is apples. I think I have fewer apple trees than other fruit trees, as I only grow fruit for villager gifting purposes now.

It turned out to be a lot less important once my S/O and I got the rest of the fruits (fortunately, we don't have the same native fruit). My other IRL friend was pretty salty about getting apples as her native fruit though. XD

I have oranges. I'm pretty happy with that because I had pears in WW, apples on Wii, and peaches and cherries in my two NL towns so now I've completed the set.

I have cherries. Initially, I wanted apples, and cherries were my second choice, but cherries have really grown on me, and I’m very happy to have them.

Apples are my extra mystery island fruit, and I got pears in the mail, so I have those as well. I still don’t have oranges or peaches, though oranges are probably my least favorite fruit anyway.

My native fruit is cherries! Honestly, when the game first came out, I HATED how they looked. I don't know what it was, they just looked so dull compared to the older games. I would have preferred apples as a starter, as I adore how they look, but I didn't want to reset over such a small thing. Now they've grown on me & I don't really hate them anymore.

Pears...
It took me...like 6 hours or something ridiculous of resetting till I finally got a pear map. I was not picky either with the maps, it just literally kept giving me every fruit but pears day of release. So, definitely like pears lol.
