What's Your Favorite Thing About Autumn?

I know so many of you on here love autumn (me included), so what's your favorite thing about it? I have two:

1. The cooler weather! I love my autumn/winter wardrobe and I'm so happy I can finally wear those clothes again. I feel like they're much more flattering than a t-shirt and shorts in the summer, at least on me, anyway.

2. The leaves changing. I live in a place where there are lots of trees and greenery so I'm lucky enough to see tons of leaves changing in the autumn. I think it's always so nice to see, and the colors are gorgeous

I'll have to second the clothing comment! Autumn/winter fashion is far more exciting than summer and I've some fun pieces I'm excited to be able to wear again as the weather gets colder! I ordered a new pair of combat boots today that will go so great with the majority of my wardrobe.

Plus Halloween exclusives always get me excited. From limited edition teas to candles to bath products I love them all.

I'd say excuses to stay inside, idk.. I don't like autumn and I don't like being outside in bad weather... so yeah maybe the clothes can be nice, at least in second hand stores if you get nice stuff there

For me, I like the vibe and how it looks and feels outside in October. It also a great month to listen to some 80s goth or metal with dark themes. lol The bad, I usually get some minor allergies that tend to dry out my eyes and runny nose. Also some mood sad feelings sometimes (not this year) Pumpkins pie tho

The excuse to eat candy alone ranks it second under Spring for me. I’m eating these pumpkin marshmallows right now and they’re SO GOOD

Sweater weather!!! I love being cozy and seeing all the color changes. I also got married in October, so there is that

-Cooler weather. Living in South Carolina, I can finally wear hoodies/long sleeves.

-Thanksgiving. Regardless of religious applications, it's a great holiday to watch football, spend time with friends and family, and, of course, eat.

I love the changing of the leaves and the overall atmosphere. With all of the colour, the pumpkin everything, the Halloween aesthetic, etc., it's just an exciting time of year!

Leaves changing color is great of course but also the wardrobe changes! It's not to cold so that you'd have to be bundled up in like ten different sweaters + gloves. But still cool enough for you to wear winter-esque clothes, which I agree with you in that I too look better in them than shorts/short-sleeves.

My favourite things about Autumn are; Crunchy leaves under my feet, everything is pretty and orange, cold but not too cold, halloween!, chocolate coated apples, pumpkin carving, bonfire season & fireworks!

I agree with you! The weather is perfect that way, in my opinion. Just like in spring, how you can still wear warmer clothes but not to the point where you have to wear a sweater and jacket over it.

I love chocolate coated apples! That and candy apples are my favorite autumn treat. I used to eat them all the time when I was a kid. Unfortunately, since I don't eat sugar I can't have them anymore, but it's still nice to think about.

Yeah they're the best, i just ate one 5 minutes ago and it was honestly the most delicious thing i've eaten all day! Sorry to hear you can't have one, but yeah it's always nice to think about that stuff

I definitely enjoy the steadily cooling temperatures. Texas is an absolute inferno over the summer, so autumn is a wonderful respite.
