The title is self-explanatory.

I think that my favorite thing about it is that it's a way to escape from real life. I can play and live my virtual one. There's no stress. Everything's peaceful. Nobody's ever "mean" to you. It's the perfect place to go if you have a lot on your mind. :)

Animal Crossing is my alternate life.

It might sound strange, but it's kinda true.

ya, the ability to do what I want without being judged :D

I really love in real time clock so I can celebrate holidays and have fun if Im having a bad day

no one can insult you in animal crossing :D

I know exactly what you mean, Kiwicrossing. Lately I feel very nervous about starting a new study again and I love to walk around in my town and talk to my careless villagers :) to pass the time and don't think about my own stress. But I love landscaping the most, visiting other towns to get inspired and creating my own small peacefull place :)

I like just the general escape aspect of the game. No matter how crappy my day has been, I can pop onto Animal Crossing and everything is happy and pretty. Plus, my villagers are always happy to see me :)

Nailed it!
Exactly this.

Another aspect I love about it is the weather/seasons changing according to real time. There's nothing like turning on Animal Crossing and seeing the beautiful snow fall/thunderstorm/rainbow/etc.
Really helps keep my mind in a peaceful state, even when I'm stressed about real life (bills, work, school, etc.). Perfect escape!
It also keeps my creative juices flowing. Landscaping and designing my home keep me inspired even in real life. I have to give the years with this game some of the credit for my eye for color, layouts, etc.

My favorite part is that the villagers seem to have their own stories forming outside of your own interactions, like how my Whitney had a bizarre tendency to say bad things about deer villagers like "Bam really hogs a couch" and such. It was always deer in particular, I had a lot of deer villagers come in and out of my town and Whitney seemed to say bad things about most of them until one day she randomly asked me to bring Beau a gift to help get rid of some vaguely implied bad blood. After that they formed a brief friendship and even visited each other's houses on occasion before he moved out. I swear I didn't make any of that up, all that happened in my game.

The music. Everything about Animal Crossing is great, from the immersion to the escape to the animals themselves, but what always keeps me coming back is the music. Whether it's listening to KK or just chilling on the beach to the 11PM music, or building snowmen to 8PM, it's just a really beautiful soundtrack and I always feel happy when I hear it.

I just love how relaxing it is.
I had been playing a lot of MH4u on my 3ds and it was really nice to be able to play a game that didn't require super fast reflexes and that didn't stress me out.

I'm also a big fan of just how cute the game is. The flower breeding mechanic is also something I really like.

I love how realistic it is! Well, it is relatively so, considering it is a game in which you live with anthropomorphic animals. I like how it goes by in real-time, and how the fish and bugs and etc. are seasonal. It is just really cool to me that it is so realistic?? It makes being mayor of a town full of animals seem all the more important, I guess.

I like the sense of power and controlling my villagers. I mean...

I like helping my villagers and helping them make the right decisions.

My favorite thing about AC is decorating my house! What I want for my house is the main room be the living room/kitchen. The upstairs room will be my bedroom, downstairs will be the bathroom, and left side room: Arcade, right side: Office, and idk, I haven't figured it out yet for the back room.

I love how you can just relax and escape to your own little world. All the villagers are so cute, and it's always fun to run around doing errands/talking to them. You can dress yourself however you like, too. It may not have a lot of action like some people like, but it's one of the few games that I can always come back to in order to relax. <3 I remember when I first started playing (my uncle introduced me to it on the Gamecube). I've been in love ever since!

I love being able to relax after a busy day; Animal Crossing is the perfect way to unwind as it has such a calm ambience created by the music and gameplay itself. The freedom it gives the player is just so nice.
