What’s your favorite rare weather event?

I'm so sad because I've never seen one of the rare sunrises/sunsets But I'm hoping to catch one for when my town is completed so I can have it in my DA. But my favorite is definitely the meteor shower and element of making a wish! It's super cute~

I love when it rains on the island! I've been playing since 2014 but this only has happened to me twice. It's so relaxing and the island music doesn't play, so you just hear the birds chirping, the waves, and the rain hitting the ocean.

My main town L?rien is set to a purple sunrise right now~ it was a total fluke cus my clock was set wonky and I forgot to change it before loading in, butt lo and behold it was total fate!
Meteor showers are super cute and spice up my nighttime landscaping for sure, I want my second town to eventually be set during one.
Thunderstorms are crazy but I think i’ve only experienced maybe one or two in like 5 years which is a huge bummer

I have never, ever seen it rain on the island ever! I didn?t even know that was a thing, it?s always sunny when I go! It must have been so pretty

Meteor showers and thunderstorms are probably my favorite... they were especially nice when I lived on the west coast. I lived in a place that didn’t really get thunderstorms or snow, but I’d grown up with them and missed it a lot, so it was always super nice getting those in ACNL... and meteor showers bc I almost never had a chance to catch good viewing for real ones!

I've never seen a rare sunset but I do love auroras and severe storms! I find it really exciting when the rain is coming down super hard and there are lightning flashes

The purple sunrise is my favorite. I really love how the sky turns into this beautiful looking purple around
that time. Unfortunately, I only saw it two times so far, since I normally don't play in the morning hours.

Another favorite of mine is the orange sunset for similar reasons like the purple sunrise.

Easily the meteor showers. In real life, I used to watch them every chance I could get when I was a kid. Seeing them in ACNL brings back very fond memories.

Wow, Some of these are news to me. The only one I suspected existed was the heavy thunder storm only because of the colecanth fishing tour on tortimer Island, but I was just wondering I'd ever see it in my town or if it was a tour exclusive weather. Glad to know maybe some day I'll get to see it in my own town.

Anyone know if fog can happen outside a thunderstorm? I've only been playing this summer, and the wiki says thunderstorms are rare outside the rainy season... I'd love to get a foggy period in the fall to make my dream address. <3

The cumulus clouds in summer are beautiful, and I also really like orange sunsets. I've never seen fog, but I hope to see it at least once. That and heavy snowfall. I've not yet gotten snow in my game, so I'm super looking forward to it!

I’ve seen some foggy clouds before rain, but it definitely wasn’t as dense as the thunderstorm fog!! I did see it rain once last September in my town, but only once and it was short.. I really just had to catch it while I was on! It looked so pretty though
I think October is a lot rarer but it can happen (for rain - not sure about thunderstorms)

i really like the aurora lights & meteor showers! and i've seen a double rainbow once or twice which was always a nice surprise~ i've never seen one of those rare sunrises/sunsets but i hope someday i can experience one!!
