I've never seen the rare sunrise/sunset, but I do really love the heavy thunderstorms! Especially when the lightning flashes in the windows in your house, always feels like a good day to stay inside and reorganize furniture.
I had one yesterday all day, and I really loved it! I like the lightning and sounds and everything, it makes the day feel all cozy

I just looked it up and wow,, even after owning this game for 6 years, I never knew there were rare pink and purple sunrises OR rare sunsets for that matter and I'm??? I'm kind of surprised I haven't experienced a rare sunset since I've always played this game in the afternoon-night period. And it's definitely not a surprise that I haven't seen a rare sunrise since they'd no doubt happen early and I always wake up late if I have a choice. If I ever wake up early, I have to do something so the last thing I'm thinking about is playing NL lmao. ;;
I don't think I've experienced too many rare weather events if I'm being honest? I know I've seen a meteor shower and a double rainbow but I think,, that's about it? I may have experienced a thunderstorm because I also looked that up and it seems familiar, but I can't be sure.
Yeah I thinks it is harder because you have to be on at that specific time of day, and then it rarely happens as well so you would have to really be playing a lot, make sure you?re outside at that time of day too and not inside your house or in a store, and be looking at the sky too! I started paying attention to it a little more after I saw the northern lights in the game for the first time. I was amazed

I also like cumulus clouds, they?re so puffy looking.
Another one is when the sky was actually blue but it was lightly drizzling. It might be that the rain just suddenly let up when I started playing.

I really love the aurora lights and the meteor showers. It's hard to pick which one I like more. I'm a night owl so I see those more often than the rest. There are several rare weather events that I've never seen because they only happen in the morning or during the day.
I love the meteor showers too! Especially making a wish at that time. I remember that?s the first time I started taking screenshots in the game was when I found that you can make wishes to the falling starts

I don't know what exactly it is called in US version of the game, but sometimes I see the sky in gradation from lightly light blue to cream yellow. I like that color of the sky, very much.
Is that like a sunset / sunrise time of day? Or that clouds changing? That sounds cool I?ll have to look for that one

the aurora lights are really pretty, but i really like the heavy thunderstorms too! the lightning is pretty cool, plus it's a good time to catch some rare fishes haha
I noticed I?ve been finding a lot of the bigger fish in the river/ ocean at that time too! I?m still trying to get the coelacanth

I didnt even know there were special sunsets/sunrises but I would love to try and catch one.
Cumulus clouds and Double Rainbows! Alleyway actually jjust got a double rainbow today and one of my villagers commented on it. I really wish to see cumulus clouds soon!

The purple sunrise is quite nice.
I have not seen it much, but the stormy sky while it is sunset looks rather interesting.

Anyways the only moderately ''rare'' event I've gotten is the double rainbow but I feel like that one is not as rare as the others people are mentioning as I had it happen quite a few times
