I love the Iron-and-Stone fence for the luxurious feel it gives, but i also love the small Lattice fence because it's just so cute looking! It really softens an area to look more whimsical. Honorable mention: the hedge fence.

My least favorite has to be the spiky fence. It just looks scary and warning of danger, lmao. Not to say it doesn't have a place on islands with certain themes or vibes, but I would never use it.

oh i didn't know lot of people didn't like the bunny day fence. i wonder if it's associated to the fact of toooooo many eggs for an event.
on the other hand i love bunny day fence and the spooky fence.
my least favorite is the Corrugated Iron Fence and Barbed-Wire Fence.

My favorite would have to be the Frozen Fence, with the Spooky Fence just behind it. I don't really have a least favorite fence tbh.

The log fence is my absolute favorite. I love using it around my farm areas and rural areas. I also use a lot of the zen and iron fences plus the color options for them are nice (even though I still use the original mostly). I use the seasonal and special fences the least because it wouldn’t suit my theme so I won’t comment on those, but id say my least favorite out of the “normal” fences is the rope fencing. It feels too “thin” for how awkwardly the fences are placed in the middle of an 1sq. I feel like fences in general would be easier to work with if they could be placed right by cliff edges or to the edge of the 1sq rather than in the middle.

I don't think there's any fences that I actually dislike, since they're all very situational to the theme and aesthetic of the island. Even if there's ones that I have a preference for, there are many applications where they obviously wouldn't work. And there are some that don't strike me as immediately appealing, but they have their place and application.

The ones I particularly like for strictly residential purposes (i.e. where personal aesthetics are especially concerned) are (in no particular order) corral fence, imperial fence, iron-and-stone fence, lattice fence, and spooky fence. I have some corrugated iron fence pieces intermittently surrounding the back side of the island. They're obviously not super pretty or anything, but I think it makes those parts of the island appear more lived in, as though there were a government and construction company working at things behind the scenes. I also like to use hedges when bushes would be impossible or unsuitable to plant in certain locations that I would nevertheless want some greenery around. Basically, I think it's helpful to look at the fences as objects with application outside of, you know, just being a fence.

I suppose the Bunny Day and mermaid fences are the only ones that I really don't care for too much aesthetically. They're both pieces where it simply won't work unless you're going out of your way to theme your island around an extremely specific pattern.

My favorite fences which are the spooky fence (used more sparsely), zen fence (around my house), iron-and-stone fence (a staple), and the bamboo lattice fence (another staple).

For y least favorite is probably the log-wall fence and simple wooden fence. One is really bulky and doesn't fit well on my island. Then the simple wooden fence, never understood the appeal of it and I find it a bit boring.

We stan the spooky fences on Dracofleur They're so pretty and go with practically any theme! They also make for a really pretty way to fence in an orchard on the island ♡ it's just such a flexible fence style!

I like the frozen fence, both iron fences, spooky fence, zen fence, and stone fence.

That bunny day fence is easily the worst imo, mostly every diy from bunny day is eh tbh- but for some reason I think mermaid fence is cute even though it has the same aesthetic. Maybe it’s because they’re not just a bunch of eggs stuck together.

I think my favourite fence would have to be the Country Fence, just because I think it's really cute. I also think the hedge fence is a staple on my island, and my island wouldn't be the same without it! I don't actually use any of the Country Fence on my island, but it's really adorable to use in HHP. I mostly use the Hedge Fence, black Iron Fence, Simple Wooden Fence and the Bamboo-Slats Fence on my island.

I was looking at the Nookipedia list and I didn't even know the Mermaid Fence existed!

I don't really have a least favourite fence, but I probably wouldn't use the Mermaid Fence, Park Fence or Straw Fence.

I like all of them, but the Country, Frozen, Hedge, Log, Log-wall, Simple-wooden and Spooky are probably my favorites.

I don't particularly care about the Iron, Park, Large Lattice, Corrugated and Block.


Overall, the fence options are really good, very versatile.

Spooky Fence is my favorite and Mermaid Fence is the least favorite. I had high hopes for the Mermaid Fence but it just never looks great when I try to use it.
