what's your current island project?

Just trying to plan out future empty areas. I want a lot of space so I can build snowmen next month since a lot of the front of my town is built up. Also need room for dung beetles to spawn in, they're my last bug I need lol.

But I've also been working on my diner, and then my own home will come next.

Currently working on my second character's house which is a Japanese Tea House uwu slowly ordering in and crafting the stuff I need for it and each room has a slightly different theme, I have a bamboo & green/gold accented room, a salura & pink/brown room and a floral blue room with English tea room vibes mixed in ️
i'm finding it fun to work on an interior space after spending a lot of time on outside areas recently.

I'd like to start messing around with my houses a bit interior wise...I just feel so unmotivated every time I realize I can only order 5 items a day and I don't feel like TTing for just 5 at a time lol.
So that's been my project (ordering)...when I can muster up the interest to.

I'm currently working on moving the last of my villager houses to where I want them (have 6/10 in their places so far) but I don't TT so it's a bit of a tedious project sometimes

Decided to totally revamp the upper part of my island. I realized that the third layer didn't really serve any purpose, it wasn't that pretty and sort of forced a gap in the outdoor area designs I had, so I basically removed the third layer entirely and am in the process of turning my second layer into a large café/lodge/restaurant/diner area, sort of a food court I guess. It's going well so far!

Art! I want to complete the Art exhibit. I've finished the Fossils, and almost finished the Fish and Bugs. Literally just one more for each, the Dungbeetle and the Pond smelt. Bring on December!. I also want to replace the stumps on my island with mushroom stumps once I get that DIY, and add Red Leaf Piles. I love leaf piles! I'm betting the slow loading on my island is due to the leaves everywhere. I'm also trying to get more Gold Roses. I successfully bred one, but I'm struggling to make more.

Looks like we had a similar roadmap for catching stuff, I'm also eagerly waiting for december to finally finish that pesky critterpedia XD

I decided to make a rock garden up by my museum! Between my decorations, a few well placed fences, and terracotta pathing, I shouldn't have too much trouble getting my rocks where I want them. I'm doing it the hard way, but I don't mind.

I also discovered I have to tear down and rebuild by one bridge. Apparently I'm not done with bridges quite yet!

In the process of making a cliff to move four of my villagers on top of as well as trying to figure out where to move my house since there is not much room to decorate in front of it in its current location.
