what's your current island project?

I have a few things on my list to do...now to just get the motivation to do it.

1. Move my residential area up to back of my island.
2. Move the shops into the current residential area.
3. Move the campsite into it's own area.
4. Pick a place for my orchid.
5. Finish planning out my house area.
6. Take down all my Halloween decorations. (maybe...I enjoy them too much)

I want to finish the urban part of my Island and create an area that leads into a forest and one lonesome home in the midst of it. Then at the bottom right of my Island I want to create a farm/cottage section. Next to my beach I'd like to create a hotel or chapel area by moving one of my alt character's homes there and decorating the inside like a hotel/chapel. I want to make a graveyard area and a shrine area but my head can't picture the right placement and what patterns and furniture would go well with it. I've been giving the game a break for a while trying to picture how it would all look, but I haven't been able to.

@__@

Currently working on rebuilding my island entrance to something that I will enjoy more. The old entrance was also very narrow; not something I minded, however my villagers would block the way from time to time. I figured it would be better for them and I to widen the path.

Additionally, there’s the flower project: to see if I can incorporate some of the hybrid flowers that have sat on my beaches forever. Should I continue through with the entrance plan idea, black, white and purple flowers will live to bloom on soil. As for the other colour palettes of flora...well, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll make an “endangered flowers” section or something.

Well I have a few ideas for my town that I'm sloooowly working on. Sometimes I watch some youtube videos on other towns for inspiration, because I'm still not entirely sure what kind of theme I want my town to have:
  1. Working on building a lake with some wilderness around it at the back of my island, near the campsite.
  2. Thinking about making my town more color coordinated, starting with some items with similar colors. I love warm colors, so I'm planning on collecting and decorating my island with items/flowers that are orange/yellow/brown or contrasting warm toned items with blue flowers/items.
  3. I might make my town more ocean-research themed. I grew up near a marine biology institute and I think it would be fun to incorporate some elements of that on my beaches. I might make my basement into an ocean research lab and see how I like it.

I’ve been toying with the idea of redoing the whole island again, but I know it’d end up pretty similar to what it is now, so I might just redo my Japanese garden and fairy forest to put a bit of life back into them again. Every time I redo the island though i end up hating it when I first start and then love it near the end so :’D

I am re doing the whole right side of my island along the beach :) I am really liking it so far I have a little tea party among pink roses and towards the back end I have my campsite in front of that on the left side is a garden area surrounded by butterfly's and on the other world sites like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and so on :)

Currently renovating the back half of my island for the new residential area and graveyard. But I have to make some bells at the moment to move all the buildings into their new (hopefully permanent) home. 😰

I have a huge blank spot in the middle of my island that I am trying to come up with ideas of what to do with. There is also a connecting neighborhood nearby that has an awkward transition to this area that I am trying to fix. But I think designing blank spot will come first. I really don't know what to do with that area yet, but I am hoping either inspiration will suddenly hit me, or I'll have a lot of trial and error moments that will eventually end up in finding the perfect layout. Only time will tell I guess

Finding all the mushroom recipes and implementing pieces into my island. Well, mostly one area.

quite a few things:

-i made a cliff area where i plan to put my museum, one or two villager houses, and at the tippy top a moon surrounded by a fairy ring and waterfalls that connect to little streams that go through the rest of the cliff and maybe a design underneath the moon and other stuff around it. i just need to get some large star fragments but haven't been having any luck with that
-i have a big valley like area between my two cliffs and plan to put Rolf's and maybe Chevre's houses in there and fill it with nature and make it very woodsy. hoping for ghibli vibes
-working on a cute little beach area on one of my bigger rocks. not too far with this one yet
-trying to finish the entrance to my island. i want rainbow flowers leading onto it but i can't get green mums for the life of me (dang purple mums)

I’m decorating my forest and adding in some mush items right now! it may not sound too exciting but it sure is exciting for me hh

I had been working on a haunted forest since the game was released. It was looking pretty good. I had the haunted house finished too. I got bored with it and decided to give it a total makeover. It's turning out to be a huge chore, but I have the outside done, and now I'm working on the interior of the house. That's not going so well. It might take a week or more longer to complete.

I added some mushroom items to my teddy bear forest. I've been waiting a long time to add these. This required a complete redo of the area. A smaller pond, etc. It looks better than it did, and now I can sit at the teddy bear birthday table because it's not so cramped. The added mush items look really nice too.

I also removed some Halloween decor and made it more fall themed. Can't wait to redecorate areas for Christmas. I foresee lots of cute snowmen here and there in the future. Some illuminated deer and trees too.😄

I just really want to finish my museum. It's so annoying that Redd only lets you buy one item and we never know when he's coming.

mine will be some kind of mix between fairycore and city , it's main colors will be pink and green , meaning there will be lots of pink paths , green mums and other pink flowers and green and pink furniture

I have been trying to relocate my house for the longest. It's currently on a tier 3 cliff blocking my secret beach where Redd docks. I still have access to Redd without a ladder though, but I would much rather have my secret beach somewhat more open and better accessible. I am nowhere near having a plan of action and have just been procrastinating day by day. I also need to rethink where and how I want all my villagers homes to be and look. Right now they are currently scattered every which way. Its a real mess right now. Maybe ill figure something out by the time christmas or the new years comes around. Also still trying to breed my first purple tulip and blue rose, its definitely been a very slow process. T_T

My current project is redoing my museum entrance. I grew to hate the way I have had it for the past few months, so it's time for change.

I also moved Daisy's home off the beach and need to work on decorating her house.

I’m currently on a mission to obtain all the mush diys so I don’t have to buy anymore loose mush items. Then I’m going to go ham on my forest with mush furniture!

basically craft more stuff to slap everywhere and re-do the area around my house :3

redoing my secondary characters house, making the main room a lab and the attached rooms portals to different environments

I've been putting off projects and focusing on trying to get villager photos. But I need to arrange my non-native fruits trees in a more logical way. And I'd like to add some more mush items to my forest island. And there is always flower removal to do. Ugh.
