on my island, whitney and sprinkle are best friends that are slowly moving into romantic territory. the head-canon started with a story that i wrote back in 2020, and it’s stuck ever since. i often see them hanging out together, asking me to deliver something to the other, celebrating each other’s birthdays together, etc. i even have their houses next to each other. i’m not sure if their relationship will ever progress to being 100% romantic since to be honest, romantically shipping two villagers makes me feel weird, but we’ll see. i’ve also been considering inviting apollo to my island since he and whitney were revealed to have a romantic history in the animal crossing movie… just to spice things up lol.

i also have a head-canon that margie and fauna are friends since they’ve hung out often since fauna moved in. margie had been the only normal on my island for a while prior to that (which is surprising considering i usually have 3-4 normals at a time lmao), so my head-canon is that their friendship developed quickly because margie was so glad to have someone similar to her in personality on the island again, so much so that margie practically jumped fauna the moment she was unpacked and ready to explore her new home.

those are the only head-canons i have atm since i honestly never have the energy or creative inclination to come up with any others. maybe one day, though.
